Im also worried about one another thing .. if this drama turns out great it still might get very low viewership in Korea :/ because its has gotten no promotion or whatsoever + just 35 min / per ep of just 12 episodes.. hmm .. Anyways i have a feeling this drama will have lots of cringe cheesy over the top moments , like someone mentioned here : it looks like a Kdrama made 2010! I agree haha! But that doesn’t have to be a bad thing tho , there are some great dramas from 2010 i genuinely enjoyed. The trailers look all over the place however it looks entertaining! I know in my comments here i sound quite negative sorry,.. i just dont dare To have too high hopes for this because then i will end up even more dissapointed if this turns out bad or even just ok … just please be good i love these kind of storylines !!

Overrated and unforgettable… i mean the spicy scenes are ofc not unforgettable, but take them all out and you get a very bland and forgettable drama. But tbh not even the spiciest scene - the kiss/bed scene did not gave me that much of butterlies in my stomach and its the most watched Kdrama kiss scene on youtube !! I mean ofc it was sexy and tastefully Done without feeling vulgar .. its a very iconic and romantic scene too (not just hot / sexy ) , it was spicy for a Kdrama and both PMY and PSJ are very attractive looking People and one of the best kissers in kdramaland yada yada … but still I didnt feel that giddy when watching this scene , Idk Why.

Maybe it had to do with that it felt too ”perfect” like some sort of fairtytale (but then again the whole story is a fairytale and thats how its supposed to be) ..it feels too staged , you see they are just acting.. there is no rawness/ realness in this scene if it makes any Sense ? Just two perfect looking People that want to look perfect on screen, too worried to look Idk .. a bit ”messy ” ? But i personally loves when it looks a bit messy etc , it makes everything feel more raw / passionate…thats Why i prefer the super sexy / hot bed scene in Netflix Kdrama ”Love to Hate You” where they go ALL in , loose completely up!! Just love it so much !! The bed scene in WWWSK felt too formal depite them being Lovers.. But then again their whole relationship was so formal until the end (even when they were alone together ) which i did not like , the FL couldnt be completely herself around him which is understandable I guess cuz hes her boss , but still annoying as she was not even herself when they were not at work .. i just did not like their relationship it felt a bit one sided too as he seemed way more in love than she did (typical in CEO/employer dramas , Where the CEO ML is head over heels in love while the FL who works for him is not even nearly as into him) ..and besides hes a Narcissist and too arrogant , a huge turn off!

I did like the bed scene still tho , and it was very stylish but not my favorite type of bed scene. .. i do like both PMY and PSJ as actors but they are definitely not each other’s best co-stars (my opinion ofc ) yes they have good chemistry but not AMAZING chemistry , i felt even off screen they werent 100% themselves around each other .. i know this is a unpopular opinion of me that they have had better co-stars , because they are concidered by most(?) each other’s best co-stars

Park Min Young’s best co-stars has Been Ji Chang Wook (Healer ) and Kim Jae Wook (Her Private Life) imo , she seemed so comfortable with both in both on and off screen (especially with KJW off screen!) i think Her Private Life (that is often compared to WWWSK because they have some similiarities, not only because PMY is FL in both but yeah its of the big reasons ofc ) is way better than WWWSK in terms of the romance. Better chemistry , healthier relationship , a supportive NICE ML, ML and FL looked equally in love and they were both completely themselves around each other and you saw how both really enjoyed each other’s company To the fullest <3 they had equally steamy kisses too like in WWWSK but no steamy bed scenes .. imagine if there had Been a steamy bed scene between them the Kdrama fandom would then have exploded (chemistry between PMY and KJW is one of the best !!🔥🔥) and the bed scene would for sure have at LEAST as many youtube views as the bed scene in WWWSK.. !

Oh i guess the reason Why the long delay is cuz of tension between south and north korea, i can’t come up with another reason .. omg tho , this drama was then filmed a really long time ago then if its even older than love and leashes :O !! I didnt believe first when i read comments here a few days ago that this Been already filmed i was thinking like ”no way ” because theres Been No news about this anywhere. , but it ended up being true anyways… Im glad its finally airing , the actors crew etc of this drama must feel happy / relieved now :)

I love these kinds of romance dramas so much but I’m scared this won’t be a good drama… Nam Gyu Ri is an great actress but the director and screenwriters doesn’t seem to have any good works made by them, i checked their MDL pages and all their works at least here on MDL has Been rated very low and I’m not familiar with any of their dramas / movies …. Another thing that worries me about this drama not having that great of quality is well because of super lack of promos etc which is just SO weird because well its airing already in 6 days! I never seen anything like this ever happening before when it comes to dramas, at least not k-dramas!! Well i dont want to be negative .. i still have hope this one Will turn out great

Edit: saw now that one of the writers actually is the director of Netflix movie ”love and leashes ” which i adore , its very progressive / modern and feminist movie , i like the message behind it. So now Im a bit more hopeful :)

Thanks i didnt know it had teasers on viki! I checked both of them , one is highlight of 4 min. I could watch both without any problems.. looks promising ! :) hopefully it will work for you Soon too.., maybe We get something more of this drama on monday :)

One of the best OTPs of all time !! Besides the amazing chemistry and steamy scenes (for u who dont know there is also a hot deleted kiss scene from last ep , its 🔥🔥) their relationship is also really healthy based on trust , respect , love, no stupid fights etc. They got along with each other already from day 1!! (A rarity in dramaland). Also the OTP would go moon and back for each other , you could totally see they were both so deeply madly in love with each other!!!

Yoo In Na has ofc also great chemistry with Lee Dong Wook (Goblin/Touch Your Heart ) , i really love the love story between her character Sunny and LDW’s character Grim Reaper in Goblin , its such a epic love story , way better love story than the main couple! But i still think she has the most magical chemistry with Ji Hyun Woo , well they had feelings for each other irl too and dated after QIHM finished airing , so it probably explains Why… But also the kissing scenes / intimacy in QIHM is way more passionate/intense than in both Goblin and Touch Your Heart! So to this date , Yoo In Na has most chemistry with Ji Hyun Woo (my opinion ofc)

I have No Idea about any of those couples , Idk which couple will be my favorite… my favorite type of couple is those with a deep unbreakable bond with lots of sacrifice for each other , ride and die for each other kind of couple, they basically cannot live without each other.. i have no idea if any of these couples has this kind of love tho.. btw will the episodes be on youtube ? I’m staying at a friend’s place this Friday who has no apps with asian dramas, but has youtube ofc .

I know this drama was extremly popular all over asia especially philippines. Iconic drama yess but was a disturbing watch ! What the F4 Did especially ofc Ming Si was unforgiveable! He should had Been put into jail!! I have No Idea Why Shancai who is strong and fierce sees in him ?? He’s Too problematic and toxic and they romanticize it .. i know its a old drama baed on manga which is even older (90s) so i understand it a bit but .. omg ! The times Ming Si lost his temper and slapped Sanchai ?? It was not even just some light slap, he hitted her hard! And hes much bigger and stronger than her , imagine how much it must hurt her! And he didnt even feel any remorse Lol.
This drama did NOT age well.

I do agree that Barbie hsu and Jerry Yan has the best chemistry out of all BOF versions , there was even some SEXUAL tension that all the other versions lacked. This is the only version with realistic / passionate kisses , its the most raw and mature and not cartoonish at all (which the other versions were to some degree , well dunno about the thai version ) , and u can totally see here how much Ming Si longs/deeply loves Shancai here ..he litetally cannot live without her!! I felt his love for her is the most intense /deep out of all versions! But their relationship was too problematic they both were too stubborn and hot tempered and usually it made them clash with each other too much , which was annoying af. Shancai would have Been better off with Lei (well if he did get over his first love and came to only truly love Shancai ofc) their relationship would have Been healthier , but then again Shancai could never be truly herself around Lei which she could be with Ming Si. She shouldn’t have honestly be with either of them …

I Did love how Ming Si would risk his life etc for Shancai, and the kidnappning scene Where he comes to save her and gets badly beaten up and she protects him with her body from getting hit by the chair is ofc one of the BEST moments, shows how much they are willing to go for each other.

So yes , while this has way more flaws than good things about it , it still had its good things heh.

I feel No version is perfect but the one i like the most is the Japanese version from 2005 to 2008 , it was less toxic and it had a 100% satisfying proper ending (which the other versions did not ) and s2 was not bad .. while MG s2 was terrible xD and oh Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun has great chemistry too , like maybe not as much chemistry as Barbie Hsu and Jerry Yan , but still great. And they were honestly a better couple overall , i actually like them together …also I heard that there are rumors that Inoue Mao and Matsumoto Jun are / were in a longtime relationship but they never confirmed they were / are dating .. well if its true they were / are dating then No wonder the chemistry was really strong!

Could be good! But it would have made it more interesting if he actually was from the Joseon dynasty , because then he would be really struggling for REAL in modern day korea because of his very conservative / confusianism values, and for not being used to anything like car , technology , skyscrapers etc etc. But then again.. in Queen In Hyun’s Man (wonderful romance drama) the ML actually is from Joseon era and travels to modern day korea and meets the FL.. while he very noble person i feel he adjusted to modern day life too fast xD when it came to everything !! He felt too modern for a Guy from Joseon era lol i mean he even slept with the FL without any problem (before marriage !)

Anyways i hope this drama will be good :D two complete opposites falling in love she modern / progressive .. he hmm not so much 😅

I have a good feeling about this drama, I think it will be a excellent drama!! And its ranked as the most anticipated drama in ”top upcoming dramas”!! (The one’s that airs Soon) ^^ and 6th when it comes to ALL upcoming dramas ! Yay! If this will be a excellent drama (I’m 90% sure i will ) I hope it will be a big hit! Correct me if I’m Wrong but I don’t think Ahn Pan Seok has yet had any big hit dramas so far ?? Which is crazy because he’s one of the best directors in kdramaland!

This is for SURE gonna be a masterpiece !! Not familiar with Kang Dong Won but I’m glad he and JJH are around same age and nice to see a drama with leads in their 40s.. instead of the usual where they are in the 20s to early 30s.. i hope the chemistry between the leads will be on fire 🔥 JJH is an amazing actress and her most iconic roles for me are from My Sassy Girl and My Love From the Star.. But tbh her chemistry with KSH (MLFTS) was not the out of the world kind of chemistry (for me ofc ) but yeah the chemistry was still there . And her chemistry with LMH (The Legend of Blue Sea) was not even there, but i think one of the reasons because of that is because LMH is/was not that great of an actor. I haven’t seen all JJH’s dramas / movies but from those I seen her chemistry with the male co-stars has never been the EXPLOSIVE kind of chemistry ,, just my opinion once again. I hope her chemistry with Kang Dong Won will be explosive 🔥🔥

Well i guess its like that in manhwa, dont know if the drama will follow that rotine..her dating the SML.. i hope too she wont. Anyways she had a huge crush on SML in high school like all the other girls cuz hes cool ” (Rebel / bad boy) but they never got together.. When she travels to the past back to her high school days she has only eyes for ML and has zero feelings for SML :)

I would also reccomend the ongoing ”Lovely Runner” its very lovely and the main couple is one of the most adorable in dramaland. sure he loves her more BUT she still cares a LOT about him even when they were not dating. She really gives her all 110% to protect / save him .. their relationship is very beautiful ,doesn’t feel one sided at all. The FL here cares millions times more about the ML than the FL about the ML in Business Proposal 🤣 if the Hae Ri and Tae Moo was put into same situation as the FL and ML in Lovely Runner, Hae Ri wouldn’t give even nearly as much her all as the FL in lovely runner .. She wouldn’t care THAT much to protect / save Tae Moo… maybe just 20% 🤦‍♀️😅even if they were in a serious relationship

I agree that in majority of kdramas (those i seen at least ) ML loves FL more especially if hes the CEO and shes his employer.. the dramas you listed all has a CEO ML and employer FL.

Its annoying when FLs are not even half as in love with the MLs as they are with them. They should just dump those FLs and fin women who actually truly loves the MLs with all their Hearts. If a guy didnt love me nearly as much as i love him i would dump him .. he doesn’t has to love me equally as much but Idk at least almost about equally. It takes 2 to work for the relationship

I don’t understand Why this is so popular 😅 main couple has not much chemistry and the FL doesn’t look anywhere nearly as in love with the ML as the ML is with her. What’s up with kdramas ? In Every single Kdrama i seen Where ML is CEO and FL is his employer the ML is alwayw head over heels in love with FL , but FL is like only like meeh =_= main reason Why i stopped watching CEO-employer kdramas. . Not many steamy scenes either between them , even the bed scene was awkward ..

Secondary couple had ofc much more chemistry and were way more steamy , and their relationship didnt seem as one sided as the main couple. But then they had to ruin it by making the SFL too drunk and SML taking advantage of the situation and sleeping with her when she was SO drunk that she couldnt even walk properly and she not even remembering about them having sex! And it was just glossed over , the SFL never once was thought what the SML did was Wrong , she was never creeped out by his actions , it was even the first time they slept with each other omg. .!! And she was the one made as at ”Fault” for forgetting, SML instead of feeling ashamed of himself blamed her instead! SML didnt think what he Did was Wrong / creepy. Too bad they had to ruin this couple (cuz of thr sex drunken sex part) or it would have Been one my favorite secondary couples in dramaland because besides the hot chemistry and steamy scenes between each other (the kiss when he takes off his glasses will remain iconic forever, the main couple had No iconic kiss scenes lol ) i also liked that the SFL here was rich and fell first (Where Woman falls first in love with man in Kdramas is not nearly as common as vice versa ) , i thought it was refreshing .. but as i Said they had to ruin everything , they almost made the SML a rapist yickes.. almost.

Skip this drama, both couples are terrible .. if the drunken sex scene between the secondary couple never happened .. i mean if they did the deed when both sober or both equally drunk this drama would have Been worth watching just for them.
