I think it starts off as lust, but you can see eventually love grows. This is very common in FWB relationship, someone catches feelings or both do.

Luke has zero emotional regulation, he lashes out at the Flora everytime he is Jealous! The fact that he has to talk to his friend eveytime to even see her side is actually insane. That being said after seeing his family, its all trauma from his father, he need therapy to work through that.
