Can we stop the concept of "I don't like boys, I only like you" ? It's the same in every BL (even in some of my…
Thank you for posting this. I was trying to decide whether or not to watch this series, but now I know I will not. I'm also so sick of that "I'm not gay, I just like you" bullshit.
I found the series entertaining but frustrating, mainly because it was all over the place in terms of what it was trying to be. It went from silly (shipper girls with nosebleeds) to ridiculous (Kim dating the lunatic teacher) to serious and dramatic... at a certain point I didn't know what I was watching.
For me, the best part was the acting of First, Fluke and Jennie. People are disappointed at the ending... by the end, I just didn't care who died or who ended up with whom.
But the dance in the closing credits was everything!
I have no doubt that it will be happy.Imagine if they had that big preview event for the finale and the ending…
Yes, exactly! I'm happy they are making LBC2. At the time of the LBC ending, the director pretty much claimed that was it, there would be no sequel, which made it really frustrating at the time.

Lol, I wasn't as destroyed by the MODC ending so much... it was really sad, but I kind of expected something like that, from the title. Tin/Can really pissed me off and did pretty much ruin the series for me, because there was such a build up for the last three or four episodes, with Tin coming out of his shell, Can softening to Tin, their bond strengthening and a mutually enjoyed passionate make out session, and then... "sorry, we can't do this." Aaaaarrrghh! Lol.
Okay, we all loved the meeting and the ending scene... but let's please give props to the writers for having Gav say "We will be caring and loving HUSBANDS" instead of that cringeworthy crap we usually get of "you're my wifey now!"
It's such a cute series. Does anyone have any doubts that we'll get a happy, feel good ending? It would just be bad writing, if we didn't. (I have no problem with sad endings, but they are usually reserved for dramas, not lighthearted productions like this one, which has such a happy ending build up. ) Of course, we've been disappointed before! (Tin/Can in LBC, anyone?)
I also felt that Tony's acting was a weak link today, and to me it seems he has gotten more shaky as the series…
Agreed. I thought Tony was at his best being "cute," especially during his song scene with JC. As for his "emotional" acting, it does feel a bit forced, compared to the naturalness of JC's portrayal of pain and sadness. Still, I do like them as a couple and I'm enjoying the series.
I may be the only one, but I do not think that Cairo nor Gav want to meet 'cause of sex. Gav often makes sexual…
It never once occurred to me that they would want to meet for sex, not in the middle of this pandemic. Cairo wanted to meet Gav in person to tell him the bad news of his moving away. Of course, that all changed in this last episode and their meeting was very sweet.
I'm dreading the meet up mainly because he will have to tell Gav about leaving. Also, Cairo isn't a touchy feely…
I agree! But I have to say that I haven't been disappointed in any of the episodes -- even the sad ones -- so I have faith that the writers will come up with something great. And now that we have four (?) more episodes, we can keep our fingers crossed!
I'm kind of surprised how excited everyone seems to be about Cairo's asking to meet Gav in person. I mean, we all know why Cairo wants this, and it's not for a good reason. Am I the only one that's kind of dreading it??
All reviews (and studies) whether artistic or scientific are based on comparisons. That's even the logic why there's…
I was ready to consider your side until you started insulting posters condescendingly. Now you just seem like you're having a hissy fit over nothing. Bye, Felicia.
