Loved the first ep! Good chemistry, it will be fun to see how this develops. (Kind of glad these are short episodes, a nice change from series that drag on endlessly... )
I have no idea what I just watched, lol! After about five minutes I felt sure I would drop this right away, but I kept going. It got more entertaining as it went along. I'll give it a shot.
I didn't feel this was such a bad episode either. Here's my take on it: 1) Probably Duen telling Bohn to calm…
We are so on the same page, Gottillc! Mek/Boss are the ones that concern me. I think it would be weird if Boss suddenly went back with Fon. In fact, it would kind of ruin their whole storyline for me. I have no doubt that Bohn/Duen will work out their issues. The fujoshi-man in me (haha!) would love to see a kiss between Ram/King and maybe Bohn/Duen in the final episode. Something tells me that Thara/Frong (the real adults in the series) may be put on hold until Season 2. But--at least--this series has a somewhat believable storyline. Holding good thoughts for the finale!
Hmm... I didn't feel like this was such a bad episode. A little tension with three out of the four couples, while they're all on a camping trip. (Shit always happens when you've got a group on a vacay, lol.) Unless the finale is a complete disaster, I'm pretty okay with this series.
I totally agree with you. I love this series and I too, think the other couples are just as you stated. I also…
Yes! Bohn is really immature, too. I don't think either one of them is ready for an actual relationship. I mean, geez... they are university students, majoring in engineering and medicine. You'd think they were in middle school.
Love, love, LOVE this series! Ram/King are so sweet, Mek/Boss is adorable, Thara/Frong have chemistry... which brings me to main couple.
For me, Bohn/Duen just don't work, and Duen is the problem. I've seen naive, virginal and playing-hard-to-get characters many times, so I was trying to figure out why I find Duen SO annoying. Finally, I've figured it out...
It's because Duen acts like a TEN YEAR OLD. Seriously.
BOOHOOO!!! You all complain about this.. about that... but you still watched it ? HahaI genuinely enjoyed it..…
It started out great and landed with an enormous thud. So no, I won't miss it and I'm not hoping for a Season 2. What would it possibly be about? Bright is sexy as hell and, at first, his aloofness was a turn on... until he just looked like he'd rather remove his own appendix with a knife and fork than have to play the role of Sarawat.
I guess I have to disagree with this. Man knew how uncomfortable Type was with him being everywhere. Type was…
@anchorenomore: Well, it was fairly obvious that Type's boss is hitting on Type. But do we know that Type was really "so uncomfortable" with Man's behavior when he confided in his boss? I noticed that when the boss told Man that Type referred to him being stalkerish, he also said that Type noted that Man is is very generous.
It looks like, in the preview for the final episode, that Type confronts Man for now staying away from him, with something like "So you come into my life and then you just leave?" (Or something similar.) Forgive me for not liking Type, lol.

Kyuubi, we are on the same page. Let's all remember how aggressive Type was with Tine and Sarawat when he barged into their apartment, announced he was living there for awhile and started making ridiculous conditions (putting up yellow tape that Sarawat was not allowed to cross)... all to trick Tine into admitting that he was in a relationship with Sarawat. So Type isn't exactly some weak-willed guy who is afraid of making waves. Why not just sit his little brother down and ask: "Tine, is Sarawat your boyfriend? Because if he is, I'm okay with that." But no, he had to be an asshole.
And sure, Man acts like an annoying mosquito that needs to be swatted, in his pursuit of Type, but he's a good guy and has been honest about it. Type has acted indifferent and rude but has also given a few mixed signals. I've had some people (that I had no interest in) pursue me fairly aggressively and, when being polite didn't work, I had a serious talk with them and told them I simply wasn't interested and it was never going to happen. It's painful for the pursuer, but it's the right thing to do. Even with someone like that, I could never just sit back and watch my friends/coworkers bully them the way Type's boss and colleagues did to Man.
And lastly, as you pointed out, it was Type's boss that invited Man to the dinner, and it appeared to be a sincere invitation. The boss showed no nastiness toward Man until he arrived at the dinner itself, so there was no reason for Man to know he was walking into a humiliation fest.
This scene just really got to me. I can deal with the difficulty of love triangles and relationship issues, because they're somehow to be expected and worked out. But, at least for me, bullying is just on another level. It's so low-life and shitty... and I have a tough time tolerating it, no matter who it is.
Is no one going to talk about the heartbreaking scene with Man, Type, and Type's co-workers????? To me, that was the one that really got to my soul. Type was, frankly, a dick for not speaking up on Man's behalf. Even if he has no feelings at all toward Man (although I'm pretty sure that he does), no one deserves that kind of public humiliation. All I can say is that if Man and Type actually do get together in the final episode, Type had better come crawling back on his hands and knees with the apology to end all apologies!
As for the Tine/Wat/Pam thing, I'm not all that destroyed by it. Pam's just an annoyance. Tine should have communicated better. And Sarawat did reassure Tine that he loves him. I doubt that this series will end on a bad note for Tine and Sarawat.
Then why are you here? If you really like My Engineer, you are not gonna be affected by 2gether(given that you…
Please remember that none of the series pages here are fan threads, they are discussion boards. People will discuss their likes and dislikes, that's what makes for a "discussion."
This may sound silly. But are there no homosexuals in Thailand? I mean, did anyone ( especially main characters)…
I agree with you! I post fairly regularly, so a lot people here know I'm an adult gay male. BL was something I happened to stumble upon a couple of years ago and I am so happy to know that it exists at all. Kind of wish it was around when I was a teenager, it probably would have helped me in my own struggle to accept my identity at that age.
So I think BL is great... I only wish they would stop with the "I'm not really gay, I'm just gay for one guy" thing. Especially now, it's not only unrealistic, but unnecessary. At least we do see some characters like Tharn, Pete (LBC), Pete (DBK), Green (2gether) and some others that do identify as gay.
"Duen the ice king". I'm laughing so much hahaha but yeah.
I am sooooo with you on Duen. Sure, I get it, he's a virgin and scared to "do it." But geez... Duen almost acts repulsed by Bohn. Can't he show ANY kind of affection? At this point, it's almost like Duen is intentionally being an annoying prick tease.
For me, Bohn/Duen just don't work, and Duen is the problem. I've seen naive, virginal and playing-hard-to-get characters many times, so I was trying to figure out why I find Duen SO annoying. Finally, I've figured it out...

Not cute anymore. I just can't.
