Yeah. And i read somewhere that the director tweeted "i don't care" in response to criticisms.
Well, if that's the director's response, I don't care, either. He can kiss my a$s. This was an EXTREMELY tacky thing to do. The director should do the right thing and apologize. It's not that hard.
This is not sarcasm, I'm just curious - what is disturbing? This is the most wholesome story I've ever seen. They've…
I'm with you on the shirtless scenes. A little too creepy.
But as for brothers kissing... if they had been stepbrothers since childhood, then I might agree with you. But this is not the case. They're already adults (or very close to it), and they've never really been a family, their parents just happened to get married. So I'm okay with it.
I never understood why people find those so sexual - they're just horsing around. There's not even one whiff of…
The way it was filmed, it comes across that they may not be wearing clothes at all. I'm not even close to being a prude but, since they're (mostly) all portraying high school students, it seems like the director was going for some sort of personal titillation. They could have done the exact same shots clothed, or shirtless with jeans, showing full body shots. Just my opinion.
Other than that, I really liked the series and look forward to S2.
I'm going to rate this on the high side. It wasn't some iconic series or masterpiece, but I just liked it.
The plot was a combination of completely unrealistic, but with good attention to problem solving. Despite the nude intermission shots, the student/teacher thing, and the strong hint at a threesome between Tri and the identical twins, this series had a very wholesome feel to it, and everyone was (mostly) nice to each other. Disappointed to see that Chon's dad was such a homophobe in the last episode.
I never post a rating until I've completed a series, but so far I'm not crazy about it. For me, it's just boring,…
Okay, maybe I'm dense... I didn't get that Sky died (assuming that's what you mean). I'll still watch, I'm curious to see where it goes... and of course, for Arthur (slurp slurp).
And this series isn't very good.

Looks to be modeled after "Our Skyy." Only problem is, Our Skyy was actually good.

It's 8.5/10 from me.
