I agree that Gene may have had some issues in the past -- maybe that even made him forget Nubsib. The story has been too good, and the writers have been too smart, to just pull a sudden character overreaction like that with no explanation. We'll all stay tuned!

Agreed. EXTREMELY melodramatic overreaction from Gene, and over what, really? Sure, Gene is an introvert, but if he's that upset over this, what would he do over something much more serious?
I guess we can just say that Gene is pretty juvenile and inexperienced at this point. A mature person would be confused but would want answers. Nubsib was ready to give an explanation (although he's guilty for not just blurting it out), but Gene, acting like a self-centered drama queen, wouldn't hear of it.
But I do like them and the series, I'm hooked! I'm sure it will all work out in the end.
Don't base your judgement on the opinion of others... check it out and judge for yourself! This is how rumors…
Understood. Here's the thing: I watched S1 and LOVED it... until the end. The MC had great chemistry and I see why so many ship them (even as a gay guy who doesn't get into shipping). However...
When you get a final episode that takes two guys who are just beginning to fall in love, then have one leave for two months with "I'll super-duper miss you every day, wish I didn't have to go and can't wait to get back!" -- to suddenly showing that they've ghosted each other for FIVE YEARS (and then show another episode with, "oops, we meant they ghosted each other for two years"), then it overrides any chemistry or cuteness, it's just nonsensical and really bad writing. Unless both of them were separately held hostage at gunpoint for all that time, there is no possible good reason.
I was SOOOOO disappointed at the end of S1. Just came back in here to see how S2 is turning out.... looks like my fears of a ridiculous story were justified. Too bad, because this had the potential to be good.
I quite like Nubsib lol Why the hate ? He's spoiled but not a bad person...Some of you judge him too harshly...Aey…
Thank you! While I feel for his crappy family situation, I really can't stand Aoey, he's annoyingly whiny... grow a set dude, Nubsib isn't into you, so learn to take no for an answer already.
I don't think I've ever seen a BL character smile as much as Prab. From the pictures, it looks like he recently got his braces off, so I'm thinking that might have something to do with it, lol.
Chon's smile is a killer - those dimples. This show is so sweet and appealing, and all the conflict is character-driven,…
Agreed on all counts! This has been a pleasant surprise all the way around. I have a feeling that the teacher-student thing is not going to evolve into a romantic/sexual relationship (even though they're both pictured shirtless in the photos, along with other cast members... but that looks to be an odd directorial choice). I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I swear, if that whole "hornbills are monogamous and when their partner dies, the other one waits in the same spot until they also die" bullcrap is a metaphor for what's going to happen to Tian and Phupha, imma cut a bitch. :)

The actors -- and the viewers -- deserve better.
I'll give it a pass.
