Title Big Spoiler
This is another home-run for the Hong sisters for me. Loved it. I wish in the end they had actually shown Kang Kyung Joon's face. And I wish it had been the face of Gong Yoo, but we can't have everything. I loved the fact that he was wearing the watch at the end. He must have had some inkling what happened because he was wearing the watch that Gil Da Ran gave to him. And he was on that bus with once again a similar umbrella.

Finished it, blown away. This will go to the top of list of top 5 cherished dramas ever. Cried until I had bags under my eyes. It was romantic bliss.

Have finished 14 episodes thusfar and I must say this is one very special drama. I'm loving like nothing else since The Princess' Man. Just re watched SungkyungKwan Scandal because of Yoo Ah In, and then decided to watch this after and it's freaking awesome. Although this is somewhat the same story as Dong Yi, one of my faves, the chemistry of Yoo Ah In and Kim Tae Hee is SMOLDERING and smokes Dong Yi on every sensual level. I know the story and I'm already in tears at episode 15 knowing this is going to break my heart into pieces when it's over.

I'm just beginning this. Of course, knowing the history I realize this is not historically accurate, as by all accounts, Queen Inhyun was a good sort and Jang Ok Jung was a seething bitch, but oh well, let the drama commence! One small niggle, the historical accounts, even by her enemies, unfailingly credit Jang Ok Jong as being the most lovely woman imagineable. I think that judging by beauty, Hong Soo Hyun would have made a better Jang Ok Jung. Can't wait to see how I feel about her after I finish this drama.

Loved the drama, loved Lin Ariel as Chen You Qing, and I have a major crush on Chen Bo Lin as the amazing Li Da Ren. He is seriously the sexiest, most adorable, sweet guy. And the ending!! That final episode!!!!!!! I just spent the whole episode laughing and crying and sighing and totally in love with this couple and their lives together.

Absolutely the worst drama I have ever seen. Ha Ji Won does not impress me, but here she makes me want to slap…
Actually I thought it got stupider and dumber with each episode. I cannot see what Koreans see in Ha Ji Won. I might check out the drama you suggested for a laugh though. If it's dumber than this tripe it has to be screaming good fun :)

My first disappointment from the Hong Sisters. There was really nothing to the plot and it's hard to make So Ji Sub look ugly but somehow the stylists managed it. The Hong sisters are masters at dialogue, and that was the saving grace of this drama, but there was little doubt who would end up with whom by the second or third episode. This pales in comparison to their earlier works.

I am not a fan of Park Shi Hoo so I avoided this drama for quite some time. But now I've started it and although…
It's cool :) I don't care nor is it my business what dramas you like.

It's just your statement about historical accuracy that was absolutely invalid. The writers had a far better understanding of history than most any writers I can think of. Queen Seon Deok, Dong Yi, Dae Jang Geum, were all great sageuk dramas but much less historically founded than TPM.

For example; Princess Deokman in Queen Seondeok is shown growing up in China; however, she in reality never lived in China and grew up in the Korean court. Her sister was not a twin at all but years older. Bidam died AFTER Seondeok, not before.

Title The Princess's Man Spoiler
So i'm kind of pissed and kind of happy. I love PSH & MCW to death but avoided this drama like the plague cause…
The ending was nearly perfect. When I first saw it, I assumed they would die, and then when they supposedly DID die, I haven't felt that kind of anguish about a drama ever. I was crying so hard that it felt like my boyfriend had left me or my mum had died. That kind of sad. And then... well I have never laughed nor cried so much in my life. Bravo! TPM!! The drama absolutely had to end that way, or Kim Seungyoo had to die. Both King Sejo and Kim Seungyoo would never give up in the battle to destroy the other. They were obsessed with one another. And we know historically that Sejo did not die, so the drama solved the problem by making each man invisible to the other in the end. Brilliant brilliant brilliant.

Gosh I really don't like the maid Yeo Ri. Why does she keep interfering. So irritating -.-
Yeo Ri is trying to keep Se Ryung from alienating her family. That is her job, and if she fails, she could pay with her life. That's why she tries so hard to keep Se Ryung in line. But in the end, Se Ryung has her own way and ends up a slave, and poor Yeo Ri ends up a slave to a slave, and yet still remains faithful and never leaves her side, until the very end. I like her.

I'm stuck here. Should I watch, Warrior Baek Dong Soo, The Moon that Embraces the Sun or this first? ._.
For my part I would not even bother with TMETS. I watched it and wish I could have the hours I devoted to it back. Hackneyed plot totally devoid of any logic.

This show is truly epic! For me it's like one of those shows that comes along once every few years that just leaves…
Could not agree more. If I were stranded on a desert island and had my choice of one drama, (Kdrama, Jdrama, Cdrama, or even European or American drama) The Princess' Man would be my pick. It's been a year since I first watched it and I'm still haunted by every aspect of this drama. The plot is strong and reality driven. Every action by a character has a consequence, and singularly devoid of typical Kdrama clichés.

I want to watch, but why does it start like that? It seemed like the ending and then it goes backward. Should…
It doesn't start with the ending at all. It actually starts with the events which change all the character's lives forever, starting with the end of Episode 8 and specifically, Episode 9.

Absolutely the worst drama I have ever seen. Ha Ji Won does not impress me, but here she makes me want to slap her. Lee Seung Gi was my third favorite Korean actor before watching this, and this drama made me rank him lower.

I'm liking this drama so far. Big fan of JGS he is amazing. I'm hoping that Maeri ends up with Kang Moo Kyul, because I frankly don't find Kim Jae Wook attractive.

Have reached episode 6 and frankly, my negative vibe towards the Maeri character is growing exponentially. Is she retarded? I mean seriously what 24 year old apart from severely mentally handicapped individuals acts that way? I don't know who to fault, Moon Geun Young or the director for letting her get away or perhaps forcing? her to take the part of a 24 year old and interpret it as a naive 14 year old? I get a vibe of Meg Ryan's early work, from Maeri's clothes, hairstyle, to her walk, it's all reminiscent of Meg's work in "Prelude to a Kiss".

Title Secret Love Spoiler
Really excellent series all in all. The only thing lacking for me was that ultimate moment which I think should have taken place after Do Hoon finally admitted to Min Hyuk that he drove that car. They never showed Min Hyuk rushing back to Yoo Jeong and getting on his knees and telling her that he knew the whole truth. And begging her forgiveness for his part in the torture that she endured, including the loss of her San. The whole series was really about that moment, Min Hyuk's final understanding of just how noble was the woman he loved, and how much she had truly suffered. He had lost a lot, his girlfriend and his unborn child. But Yeo Jeong had lost her first love, five years of her life, her son, and her father. That realization should have crushed Min Hyuk for a very long time.

Title The Great Queen Seondeok Spoiler
Absolutely recommend this drama. For me, it didn't begin well, and the female disguised as a male conceit is way overused in KDrama, and sometimes I just couldn't stop laughing. No one, even blind, would mistake Deokman for a male. However, after episode 30, the drama really found it's sweet spot and at times took the writing and acting to TPM level. The love affair between Seondeok and Yoshin took my breath away. Bravo!

Absolutely the best drama I have ever seen. Intelligent, well conceived storyline and brilliant acting throughout. The main character is so brilliantly interwoven into the plot that she remains always historically accurate and plausible. The crazy part is that there was actually record of an invisible daughter "Lee Se Ryung" in the historical records of the time. The writers took this premise and flew with it. Puts Hollywood to shame.
