I just noticed the director. No wonder Fights Break Sphere is a lot better compared to Martial Universe. His previous…
Directly the critically acclaimed Legend of Song and Dance as well. Talented martial artists, and equally talented director.

Laura, this drama it is lighter in tone than those on your list. But FBS is just the first part of perhaps two…
Is this drama actually going to have multiple seasons?

Here is my "favorite Dramas OF ALL TIME (2018)" list:https://kisskh.at/list/01e7Rny3Based on that does someone…
It's a lot like Legend of Fuyao, except less political and more of a wuxia chivalrous-hero-roaming-the-world feel. So far, I've found it a lot more enjoyable than Fuyao. Very nice production qualities despite a fairly mediocre budget- really puts Fuyao to shame with their fake-ass plastic sets and shitty CGI. Overall, if you enjoy historical/fantasy chinese dramas that are combat-based, this drama is as good as it gets.

The DVD version is what is called the director's cut approved by SART. The TV cut version is a subsequent cut…
The TV episodes seem to be longer though, alternating between 39 and 59-minutes wheres the DVD version is consistently 45 minutes. This wouldn't make sense unless there's less TV episodes total compared to the DVD version.

Xun er and Medusa are xiao yan 's wives . xiao yi xian , yun yun are some kind of border-line friendship-love…
Never said anything about polygamous relationships. I was replying to the comment about every girl in the drama liking Xiao Yan, or any male main character in the history of wuxia dramas for the matter of fact.

That trope is typical of every the wuxia drama, and it seems to be making its way to the xianxia genre has well. Better get used to it, there's gonna be a lot of MC's that are absolutely players and have entire harems of girls to choose from.

Why is the TV cut version ahead of the DVD version? Episode 12 on the DVD version cuts off during the battle between Xiao Yan and his martial uncle, but Episode 11 of the TV version finishes the entire battle scene without even getting to the halfway point of the episode.

i have mixed feeling about this. main lead (Yang William) acting was just meh... only selling point is his good…
Guo Jing is supposed to be a naive and slow-witted boy guided by an unbendable moral code and his true heart. His character was never written to be smart. Criticizing a drama adaptation because of the way its source material was written is unreasonable. Plus, it takes very developed acting skills to portray a dumb character while maintaining charisma. If you've watched Yang Xu Wen in his other roles, you'd realize his acting versatility. He did a lot better than Hu Ge in portraying Guo Jing IMO. Hu Ge's Guo Jing went from borderline autistic to suddenly a badass grown-man in the middle of the drama. The only thing worse than no character development is forced development.

Title Your Highness Spoiler
I'm a little confused about the ending. Is there some kind of loop? Is Qin Zhan now the character he himself defeated…
Basically. He's become the boss of the video game. This is just my theory, but I believe that Qin Zhan has left such a significant legacy on the world he entered that he overrode history (in the Jin Yong world) and legitimately became part of it. The game relives the history that he changed and thus that particular moment as well. Theoretically, he'll be stuck in that endless loop of fighting challengers over and over again, and if there is a Season 2, it'll probably be on him and Yu Chen trying to breaking out of the cycle before a superior challenger arrives. The tattoo's probably signify that they're getting digitized into NPC's, thus losing their human identities. Unfortunately, it's unlikely that we'll ever find out about what happens considering Chinese dramas and their polarity towards multiple seasons.

As for his "powers", the entire Wulin transferred its internal energy to Qin Zhan through the Qian Kun Da Nuo Yi in the final episode to aide him in his fight. The show stated before that "no matter how powerful he [Qin Zhan] is, he cannot defeat the entire Wulin". His revived internal energy is at least is not more than on par than his former "power".
