That must be it. I saw quite a bit of the BTS and they seem to be great friends and that translates well on screen for other BL couples, but not them. At least not yet. I'd like to see them in more roles in future and I'm looking forward to seeing Book improve with some guidance. Force, I know, will get better and better.

They're all technically together from the beginning, but I guess this last ep (ep. 6) is when they start to really get closer.

Lian-Kuea give me Akihiko-Misaki (Junjou Romantica) vibes, but things that can work in anime don't work in live action show. Actually, this whole show kinda seems...cartoonish.

It seems like he's low key manipulating Lian at this point too.

I think I've seen this happen for almost every BL in the past two years except Bad Buddy, Cherry Magic, and ITSAY. More people are more critical here, for sure. I feel like the fans on MDL, at least the BL fans, are older, have seen a lot (maybe too many?) BLs to forgive bad plots or bad elements to those plots and instead pay more attention to the other things like romantic moments and chemistry.

I feel like if this were before casting started and somebody said this, I'd be inclined to agree. Actually, even when the trailer came out I kinda had this view, but tbh, I wasn't as unconvinced by Gun as Black as I thought I'd be.
I won't take away from Off and Gun as I thought they did great here, but I can agree that Max and Tul would have done well too. Speaking of, Max and Tul as Kinn and Porsche would have been lit. The series hasn't even aired yet and I know they would have done great with it.

This gave everything I needed. I choose not to bother elaborating on anything critical because every criticism I have is dwarfed by everything else I absolutely adored about this series. It was a much needed breath of fresh air.

True. Theo does do very little. This underlined with this full knowledge of Akk liking him, but refusing to say something to Akk about it.

I agree, but even going by those standards Shinwoo was also not very prepared. He spends most of the show not even knowing how to decently hold a conversation with Taekyung, much less be in a relationship with him.
I’m happy everyone ended up happy, I just think Daon did deserve a bit better.

Him getting outed/betrayed by So Hee and having to deal with all the social backlash while getting close to Taekyung which only served to drive a wedge between him and Taekyung making him more alone than he was even before.

He was actually starting to learn to accept himself and come out of his shell by being with Taekyung and Taekyung was happy to be there for him during that process and actually encouraged him a lot. It’s VERY sad that Daon ends up alone especially considering how badly he gets abused emotionally by the end of this.

To the first point, you’re right. The most unnecessary “Enchanté” being Wayo. Phupha tried to use him, but Natee caught him. Natee figured out who Enchanté was and told Akk and Saifah was there to help Theo from the beginning. 0 need for Wayo to exist at all.

To the second, while I agree Book isn’t a match looks-wise for Force, he is honestly a 7 for me and I’ve noticed in forums among Asian followers of the show, he seems to be the more attractive one for some reason.

Same. I mean, he loved him and everything, but the reason he's dying is because he KILLED someone, so it's not that bad. Also, that Romeo & Juliet-we can't be together feeling is more romantic anyway..

I don't know whether to give you crap because you drop so many series all the time or give you credit because you actually give them a chance at all with the full knowledge that you'll probably drop them. LOL
I guess I'll go with the latter. As GoogstarP said, then end is nice-ish.
