Of course everything moved super fast, but I liked the concept of a tryst with a vampire in university. The acting was ok, the music was good, and I actually felt the chemistry, so this was good to me.

I think you're not enjoying this one for two reasons: 1) You're watching it between two other more strongly written BLs. I'm not sure how My Ride is, but I know Cherry Blossoms is supposed to be pretty good. and 2) You're too focused on Enchanté. Yes, that's that the name of the show. Yes, it's the big "mystery", but as you and pretty much all of us have stated: no one really cares. If you don't focus on that aspect of the show, it's really not so bad.
Aside from the weird communication (or lack thereof) here, I think this one is solidly in the mediocre category.

That's what he was pulling out of his pocket when Phob's mom came along. Ohhh...I'm actually watching the uncut version and I still missed these points. haha

I think covers it well enough. I was mostly curious as to whether or not Kit ends up going, but now knowing that he doesn't kinda makes a lot of their story arc seem pointless.

Ep 8: Phat standing up for Phob to his mom really made me emotional. I thin Plan did really well with that scene. Although I find myself feeling like the pacing didn't need to be as slow as it is, I still really, really like this series.

No problem. As a Mandarin-speaker, this is one of the first things I notice about the characters, even if their being ethnically Chinese adds nothing to the story lol like Pat in Bad Buddy, Korn in Until We Meet Again, and Can in Love By Chance.

You'll also notice those of Thai-Chinese descent in BLs referring to their parents as ma and ba instead of mae and phaw...

If you want a forum void of "killjoys", MDL is not the one. LOL Try Discord? Amino maybe? MDL users will come for everything, but usually with a lot of validity.

Enchanté will definitely go down as one of my "forgettable" BLs with the likes of Fish Upon the Sky, Don't Say No and Golden Blood. Unlike the other three though, I actually find this one more endearing. Force does 'dorky, but charming' extremely well.

I guess it's so Kuea wouldn't know that Lian knows that he's Kirin though, right? I mean, not just the kiss? But yeah. Creepy because he's trying to control Kuea even from behind the scenes.

Lots of people feel really romantic about kissing people like that. I don't disagree with you about it being wrong, but admittedly I can't pretend that I'm as put off by it as you and others seem to be. I'm looking forward to see how well he does get "redeemed" or how much worse it gets.
