Quiet as itâs kept, but Valen and Non are the ones that actually need to be together. Kaitoon was doing just fine being dedicated to work and school. đ€·ââïž
I don't know what else to say besides well done to all the actors. This won't get the clout and the credit this deserves immediately, but maybe, hopefully, after these actors go on to do some other, more popular or happy work, people will look in their list of other dramas they were in and discover this one. Green (Ben) really stood out to me this episode. Before, I was a bit sad that I wouldn't get to see the pairing of Tae and Chap again in The Tuxedo, but at this point, I'm very much looking forward to seeing Green with Chap.
I feel this way whenever I watch a grand court drama but man, do I want to visit Beijing again and go to the Forbidden…
As a resident of Beijing, a word of advice if you want to catch the palace covered in snow: come in mid to late January. After you get here, check the weather to see when itâs scheduled to snow. Buy your ticket for the palace as soon as you see it because everyone and their mom dressed in their best hanfu are gonna be there for photo ops too. Lastly, get there very early. Snow usually falls at night here and is often melted/mushy by the afternoon.
If the forbidden city doesnât work out, you can buy tickets the day of at the other palaces and temples that are built in the same style and offer great photo ops as well. đ
i have big problem with Ice character's real life parents. Because the actor is 14 years old and they let him…
In theory, I think it'd be weird to cast a 14 year old when everyone else is so old, but I don't think his character got put in a situation that was terribly inappropriate for his age? And as far as the storyline, aside from cheating, what else really happened in this that a 14-year-old or even 11 or 12 year old wouldn't already be very well aware of?
Well, we can't say nothing happened in THIS episode! "Gen Y 2" should borrow these writers for their last few…
I hate that I do this and play Devil's advocate for the assholes of BL (a la Khai from Theory of Love), but hear me out. lol You mentioned in another comment about the possible kiss in the next episode being interrupted by Valen. If that's really the way it goes, then it destroys absolutely everything. Like obliterates it and leaves Valen in the same position you mention King being in for years to come. Valen's biggest character flaws are insecurity and selfishness. Pretty much since he's been involved with Kaitoon, we see him slowly, but surely working himself out of being so selfish all the time. A very minor example is when they were at the beach and Valen didn't want to share his noodles, but in the end, he did.
The flaw he is nowhere near done working through is insecurity and unfortunately, I can't knock him that bad for it. Everyone's insecure about something. And, at least for me, two more factors are at play: 1) Kaitoon is naĂŻve, I'm sorry, but the boy isn't clever. Nont would need to hit him over the head with a bouquet of roses in order to for him to realize he likes him. Look how long it took him to realize Valen wasn't just being weird! and 2) Nont has indeed been trying to get with Valen this whole entire time and Valen saw that exactly for what it was.
If Valen sees Nont go in for the kiss and Kaitoon does anything except back away before their lips touch, it won't matter if someone explains in detail how he was wrong about the Valentine's Day mess with Peat and Sean because he wasn't wrong about Nont's feelings towards Kaitoon (even if he is wrong about Kaitoon's feelings towards Nont).
Valen is a mess and a half, I get it, but I swear I can't hate the kid.
I've watched it , and yeah it was the worst episode in BL history :)
I can't hate him either! The most evil part of me can totally understand Peat leaving King for Sean, but neither the good nor evil part of me can understand why he would go back to Peat with Sean being as sexy as he is. lmao Don't shoot me, anyone.
Part 1 was on track to be something good, part 2 started off as a dumpster fire and turned into the core of the…
Actually, Kaitoon told Valen that he was going to do a group project. Kaitoon was late, so everyone had left except for Sean. So, by the time Valen got there, it already looked weird because there was no one else there except for him and Sean (as if Kaitoon lied). It looks worse because obviously Sean's in the corner kissing Valen's friend. Then the absolute cherry on this shitcake is that it's Valentine's Day. Remember: Valen was already very disappointed that Kaitoon had ditched him to go study in the first place.
Not a bad start. The acting feels...off? Weird because I've seen Zee, Max and Nat before and they were fine, so maybe it's the direction. Can't place it, but that part felt a little weird for me. Otherwise, great production quality. It's interesting to start the series off with one couple already together and the other couple having already revealed his love in the first episode. I still have questions about their arranged marriage, but I'm assuming they may get addressed later.
everyone complaining that they cant enjoy the show because we all know Theo is going to end up with? like of course…
During some scenes of ep 4, I didnât end paying attention to the conversation between Theo and whoever tf because I was too busy looking at Akk and his legendary bitch face.
Phuphas left lazy eye is distracting. Whenever he sorta squints and tries to give one of those "charming" looks…
I think, aside from being a bit of a creeper, Phupa's kinda cute. You're right though, about the acting. He's new and in the BTS, he was talking about that and how he's new and taking a lot of tips from the others. But did you really have to read him for his eye though? God. That almost hurt *my* feelings. lol
I'll go a bit further, even though it's rather early, and speculate that even if we were to have an adversary trying to get after Theo for his money or whatever to add to the drama, we'd only need one or at most two, but four? Phupha and Natee are conniving enough. But what is Saifah doing except looking good and playing a guitar? Why is Vayo even here??? lol
Unlike many, I don't have much of a negative opinion of Theo. He's kinda like sliced white bread. Nothing special, but when you spread some good butter (Akk) on it, it's delicious.
It truly isn't a BL if there isn't a beach episode.
Green (Ben) really stood out to me this episode. Before, I was a bit sad that I wouldn't get to see the pairing of Tae and Chap again in The Tuxedo, but at this point, I'm very much looking forward to seeing Green with Chap.

Itâs episode 4 and we donât know as much as we should about Theo and thatâs disappointing.
And about Enchanté, because Akk and Theo are already so close, knowing who Enchanté is just as irrelevant as the four other guys. Enchanté and Vayo literally add nothing to the show.
But did you really have to read him for his eye though? God. That almost hurt *my* feelings. lol
