I didn't think knowing about ancient Chinese poetry would pay off so much and in such a gay way after having read it. haha There are so many references here that I think may even be flying over the heads of many native speakers. Wen Kexing is very well-spoken.
The scene was silly, they only showed it because they wanted the audience see the efforts he was doing for Tiffy.…
That makes sense, but I guess they could have let him have a flashback while he was in the changing room or have him look at a text message from her or something for us to make the connection. I would never have known unless your comment. LOL
You dropped Sotus? ;-; I don't like how Kongpab uses that line either, but the rest of the series is gold. Whenever…
I thought everyone loved SOTUS? I didn't personally, but it's because Arthit is like my least favorite character to ever be in a BL, but I always thought the general opinion is that it was amazing.
I think his perfect for the role, then again am a fan of his so.... Truly speaking i think all actors are doing…
Fair enough. :) Gong Jun is actually the reason I started this anyway. It's been so long since I've seen him, so I'm curious. I'm happy it's exceeding my expectations (even if not totally) and according to the other comment, I'm looking forward to the future episodes.
If you can choose only ONE out of the four - GJ, WYB, XZ & ZZH, who is the most attractive and handsomest of them…
DISCLAIMER: I'm not familiar with ZZH outside of this drama, so, in spite of him being probably the most experienced and possibly the most charming, I just don't know him, so *shrug*
I choose Wang Yibo. As far as being physically handsome, he has the aloof look which I like. When he's not smiling, it looks like he's quietly thinking about murdering someone or about how he just has. lol I find this extremely sexy. I'm also a huge fan of his lips and how when he smiles, his mouth curves to the side.
As far as being attractive otherwise, he's confident and brooding, but really knows how to come out of his shell and be silly too. He's honest and direct (to the point of embarrassment sometimes which I always find hilarious).
I went into this one with doubts about a few things: -Gong Jun playing the active role instead of the passive -Zhang Zhe Han's chemistry with Gong Jun -Overall production quality
As of episode 10, I feel like Gong Jun's doing a better job than I expected, but I still think the passive role would have suited him better. I think his 'prettiness' goes well with Wen Ke Xing's role as the evil ring leader, but I think if that role were a little more fem, I'd like it. I'm not a fan of his as this sort of charismatic "junzi" gentleman, though. Gong Jun's vibe seems a little too soft to pull it off, but a lot of that is made better by the fact that he always speaks in riddles, double entendre, and quotes ancient Chinese poetry.
I like the chemistry between the leads, but it's just OK for now. I think they need a bit more time alone and going through hardships though for it to get a better opportunity to show.
The show's production quality has surprised me. The CGI isn't amazing, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting (*cough* Guardian *cough*).
This series makes me feel the same way I did about 'Cause You're My Boy/My Tee. It's very clear to see how it's bad, but for some reason, I'm still here and find myself liking it.
I am glad I watched this series and can say that I wish every Y/BL writer and series director would do the same.…
I don't think my heart would be able to take it if this series were longer. I remember UWMA went on for something like 16 episodes or so which is longer than a usual BL AND it was so sad. My head was in a completely different space for days as I binged that show. :(

GJ is a VERY close second though.
