Title Manner of Death Spoiler
Two things that made me go "Huh?" this last episode:
1. Why did Pued and why do people in shows always turn their backs on known murderers? lol
2. Why is Rungtiva the only one got the horrible death? I realize she was the only one that we know of who killed people, but the politician, the police chief, the judge, hell, even Por are all criminals. Nobody else even got so much as a punch in the face. I guess I could see the politician escaping given his high position and everything, but still.

Other than that, I enjoyed this series. I especially enjoyed the very mushy, quintessentially BL ending (sue me!)

not only Thai series, but another country is also doing a lot of weird BL series
Solid picks. I've seen them all except GSP and Nation's Brother. Addicted//Heroin was the first proper BL show I ever watched (not including some anime and very few gay Japanese films). Yeah, Addicted was the last real Chinese BL. Advance Bravely was categorically bromance, but it had its fair share of physically romantic parts. The Chinese app Blued has recently come out with a series of gay short films based on real stories. Last year, I think. In one of them, the guy is watching SOTUS on TV which I thought was cute.

Good show for cooking ideas and for just extra time with Gameplay doing what he loves.

Cool. I think I'll check out Gaya sa Pelikula. Well, since I know you've seen quite a few BLs. Which are your favorites by country. Just curious.

I agree with Sathiperera. If you didn't like *any* of the HIStory series, this one might not do it for you either.
More like your lack of reading comprehension. lol Bye, girl.

I didn't even bother to watch the trailer of "My Gear and Your Gown" as the name just made my eyes roll to the back of my head. How was it? I gotten into any Filipino BL at all so far. I admit, I think I'm one of the people you mentioned who find the find the pretty boys in cute, lovey-dovey, fantasy situations to be appealing, so I think that's why I tend to be ever so slightly more forgiving to Thai and even Korean BLs in some aspects...and when it comes to The Philippines...not one actor has come across as remotely cute or handsome to me so far, so I've just kept putting them on the back burner. I'll get around to Gameboys at some point...some day. haha

I didn't try to twist anyone's arm and I didn't even put down your opinion (as you did). I just said I disagreed with that. I also didn't say Trapped was the best, nor that it was a ground-breaking either. And I didn't "keep judging that", I simply mentioned it. What I said is that they were both average.

I don't understand why you're trying to be so invidious. Relax.

Watching Phupha go from forest ranger stud to a soft romantic whose easily flustered when his crush looks at him is probably my favorite thing about this series right now.

Everyone hated the "P'Deeeean" thing as they were watching UWMA, but after the fact it's one of the most sweet…
I found it hilarious every time and it was a welcome laugh given how sad that show was haha

That was just one hot Borderline mess...
I need a LOT of loose ends tied in Mood Indigo...which I've heard happens, but I haven't seen it yet, so we'll see.

"People praising Trapped so much, surprises me a lot. A bunch of cops who behaved like children, some cheesy cliche BL scenes and then Jake Hsu's acting who was over the top most of the time? Chris Wu was great and stunning, though."

I appreciate BL cheese, but I can see how others wouldn't in some cases. Chris Wu was my favorite part of the series.

"And the plot with the father was good. But the whole series wasn't balanced out. I rewatched it several times, and still got the impression it didn't flow right. This was a very mediocre production, all over the place, with some great scenes, some great acting, but no consistency."

I admittedly didn't watch it several times over, but I did think it was consistent enough..as far as these shows go and there really were some good scenes and good acting which I liked it for.

"With some minor changes like reducing those silly and unnecessary scenes in the first half and making the cops more believable, it could have been much better. "

Like I said, I like the cheesy BL stuff, but the cops indeed could have been more serious.

"No offense, but Trapped is sure not a good example of a great series with great writing and great production. "

No offense taken. I'm not one of the "people praising Trapped so much" lol. I just used it in comparison. It wasn't "great" in production and writing, but I don't think this one does much better in those aspects either...except that this is simpler.

"WBL is a rather generic story, but the actors are charismatic, the characters well written and the most important thing: it's not so messy."

I felt the leads were charismatic enough in Trapped as well. Like I genuinely don't feel the chemistry was lost between them, but yes, I can also agree that this story isn't as messy and is (again), simpler.

Your comments weren't any less subjective than mine and that you would only criticize my comment instead of the actual subject matter of what we're talking about is rather telling of what your concept of logic is.

Slow-burn, super kinky, and mildly depressing at times. Three things I always count on with Japanese BL. This one delivered and it was great.

Yikes. I don't think ever disagreed with a comment more than this. lol This show's good, but it's not breaking any new boundaries from what I've seen. Production quality and acting are really middle of the road here. I really don't see how one would think Trapped isn't as good as this, but to each his own, I guess.

Not really. Of the three seasons and seven miniseries, there was a lot of variation in production, direction, etc. 'Stay Away From Me' and 'Trapped' weren't of the same quality in the slightest.

If anything, this series is right on par with HIStory installments like Crossing the Line and Trapped.
