is this worth watching? mostly heard negative things, i have it on my plan to watch but hmmmmrating is already…
I mean, it's a little early to tell, and so far, it's really easy to see where it's bad and will be bad until the end, but (at least for me), there's a charm to it, so I'd say 'yes' if you're curious.
*massages brain* Wow....just...What in the actual HELL was that episode???? Listen, at this point, nobody is trying…
I heard that the actor who plays Thanu is the blurred image of Pha that we see...at least sometimes anyway. I totally agree about the lack of resolution though. I think that and the insertion of Phai as a miserable foil for Thanu/Wayu's relationship are my biggest downfalls for this season. Except at this point, I guess I can't even call Phai a "foil" because he doesn't actually help Thanu/Wayu in any way. He just impedes it, but not in a malicious or purposeful way, so like why even bother with that at all? I'm also kinda annoyed at the lack of any development AT ALL with Padbook. If you take out 80% of Jack and Koh bickering time, we could have gotten more than enough insight about Padbook.
You do know that Kim is nearly 30, right? And Cop is not that much younger. How do they look young? Also if you…
If you fail at arguing a point, you shouldn't try to attack the person who's making the counterpoint. Attack the counterpoint itself. Who I am, what I do, and how many children/teens I know have nothing with how mildly the physical romance was depicted in this show. Your response was tone deaf before, but now you're resorting to random insults, so it's clear you've no rationale left to express. I'll leave you to your negativity.

I'm talking about the characters as they related to the teenagers. I'm saying this show showed a pretty decent lesson of what to do when faced with difficult sexual situations. But since we'll mention irrelevant comparisons, fully-clothed, mostly emotional intimacy on-screen isn't comparable to violence. The amount teens involved in brutal violence isn't comparable to the amount involved in romantic relationships either... I have over a dozen younger cousins and work in education which is why I responded to your comment in the first place. It seemed tone deaf and out of touch with the reality of teens, but ok. That's your opinion.
-MarkKit got criminally little screen time this episode, which has forced me to finally fully focus on everything else going on on the side with full attention. -I like that we're getting to know the new freshmen. I can see the set up for the new season. I also like Pok and Tong's story/chemistry, personally. -Why are Jack and Koh still around if they're just gonna shuffle around for a few seconds and then go away? -And why ISN'T Padbook getting more screen time? I'm really tired of seeing this poor boy just walk around angry for five seconds each episode. You deserve more, Padbook. -People are gonna hate on Thanu, I already see it and to an extent I get it, but while he's slow to get his feelings out, at least he hasn't been wishy-washy...yet. Trying to navigate dating your friend's ex while trying to cut it off with your maybe-future-destiny thing that you have definitely have feelings for, but don't want to pursue all while going through premonitions isn't easy. lol -Phai is the baby and deserves all the best things in life. He may not get them, but he deserves them. -I think ultimately Wayu is destined to be happy with Thanu, he just needs to get dragged along by this plot for a little while longer. I've run out sympathy for him if I'm being 100, though.
"This is probably not going to be an outstanding bl"
Oh, absolutely. lol I knew this was gonna be low-budget with new actors ahead of time. For Tonhon Chonlatee, I was expecting my favorites to shine and to laugh my ass off, but here we are with one more episode and a lot of disappointment.
The story of this one is silly to me, but I'm here for it...largely out of curiosity.

But they're clearly in college and among shows set in college and even high school in Thailand, comparatively speaking, this is very, very mild (side-eye to Lovesick and Make It Right). This show is a rare example in Thai BL of the seme who obsessively pursues the uke actually being a decent human being by not sexually harassing the uke while he's drunk. It shows exactly when and why it's inappropriate to do things like that. It also doesn't show any sexual activity at all. Teenagers all over the world are romantically intimate. College students more so. It isn't that big of a deal to acknowledge that on screen.
It was the music, the scenery, and the lighting for me. Plot-wise, it was cute, but uncreative. The acting wasn’t horrible, but the chemistry was lacking in a lot of places. It’s not as bad as some of the comments seem...if you’re into the really simple type of BL. Basically, if you didn’t hate Oxygen, you’d like this.
This must be the most expensive Thai advertisement on televised. 10 episodes and counting for a jelly vitamin…
The vitamin brand paid a lot and it comes at the tail end of the episode apart from blurbs in the middle of the show. There are billboards with KimCopter and this brand in Bangkok rn btw. lol It's serious. Any actor would deserve better, but if you're in Thai BL, it's not likely you'd escape such a thing.
Also for those commenting - 'Why so negative?' please stop. This 'good vibes only' trope is a cop-out from dealing…
I'd agree if a huge bulk of comments about every drama released since fall of last year that aren't ITSAY or Cherry Magic weren't so unyieldingly negative and nit-picky. lol Both those dramas were my favorites of the season, namely Cherry Magic, but the amount of harsh scrutiny that's being thrown toward other dramas lately is...a bit much imo...even if it is a 'sign of the times' in that BLs need to step it up in many ways.
I think that dynamic worked out well for them because now their relationship is really sweet, but even Kit pushing him away was still kinda sweet in a lot of ways.
I think the teens can comprehend sexual aspects of BL easily enough. It’s the emotional aspects of these shows and how the portray building romantic relationships that concern me most of the time.
Whew. I thought that ending was going to be something very different. lol I'm not mad though. I previously thought Bun's character a bit naïve and simple-minded, but I like that I can see him as a more mature person now. Does anyone know if we've seen the guy who comes to beat up Tan in jail before? The one that there's a close up of while the other three guys are beating Tan.
I don’t know why so many people dislike this show here on MDL. Ofcourse it has many flaws but i can forget these…
There are many reasons, but to name two: -Tonhon's aggression/violence -Ai, Ni, Chon, Na, and Pang's manipulation to get Tonhon to "realize" his sexuality There are pro's to this show, no doubt, but this series drops the ball in ways that MANY BLs have done before it and they kinda should have known better before making it in this way. The budget is there. The production quality is there. The actors' capability is there. All the pieces were there to make this a REALLY good rom com like how the previews showed it, but unfortunately, it didn't deliver for many people...myself included.

"Morganite."
This made me laugh way more than it should have.
This show is ridiculous in a lot of ways, but because I'm curious as to where there story will lead, I'll be sticking around.
