everyone has their own preferences and opinions. it is normal for people to complain. all of life is like Goldilocks…
You just described personal preference, which is exactly why excessive negative reviews can be misleading. They make it seem universally bad when it’s not. That’s the whole point. Funny how you understand personal preference when it comes to positive reviews, but ignore it when it comes down to negative or misleading ones.

Based on the reviews I saw on X and here, I initially didn’t want to watch it. However, I ended up giving it a try with low expectations because of what I had read, only to actually enjoy it. I believe that’s what the OP was trying to say. Maybe read and comprehend before you say things.
Mingee wasn't even harsh, I understand some would be pissed off for having that conversation with Mina. If you understand Korean well, you’d notice that her tone wasn’t aggressive or rude at all. She was calm and direct, but sometimes the truth hurts, and that may be what triggered the reaction.
I also think the tears came from feeling overwhelmed rather than from being attacked. When emotions are already running high, even a gentle confrontation can feel heavy. That doesn’t necessarily mean Mingee was wrong for expressing herself, or that Mina was wrong for feeling hurt but it just shows how sensitive the situation had become.
At the end of the day, misunderstandings escalate easily in environments like dating shows, where pressure, insecurity, and cameras are constantly involved. It’s okay to empathize with the emotions without fully agreeing with how everything played out. Both sides were probably acting from a place of vulnerability.
I don’t like Mina Sue, and she seems like the worst kind of person to have as a friend. I’m not hating on her because the guys like her, that’s not the issue. She isn’t forcing those guys to be interested in her, and everyone involved is an adult making their own choices. What bothers me are her actions. They scream “pick me,” and she knows it that’s why she was guilty enough to say she doesn’t want to look like one. If you’re already aware of how you’re coming across, then why keep acting the same way?
Her saying Mingee was “scary” was especially weird. I understand she might be feeling conflicted about the situation, but Mingee asked her whether she liked Seungil, and she clearly said no. She even hold hands with Mingee, so how does she suddenly become “scary”? That just doesn’t add up. Honestly, it feels like she’s playing a game trying to make Seungil see that Mingee is an obstacle to her being with him, and see whatever he does with that information.
I also don’t think she genuinely likes Subeen. In fact, I don’t think she truly likes any of these guys. She’s just being consistent with what she said about prioritizing herself. However, her jealousy is very obvious she still wants to keep Subeen attached while simultaneously exploring other guys who might be interested in her. Subeen was the one she was sure was into her, whereas Seungil has Mingee. Seeing Subeen with someone else seems to bother her not necessarily because she likes him, but because it threatens the image of being the most desired or popular one she wanted.
What frustrates me the most is that she doesn’t even need to behave this way. She’s pretty, and the guys are clearly interested in her. She is literally Subeen’s ideal type, so no matter what, his choice was kinda unlikely to change. And she could have simply been honest with Mingee and said, “I might not like him right now, but I’m open to getting to know him,” or “I’m still figuring out my feelings.” It really could have been that simple. You can prioritize yourself and still be honest. But the way she goes about it just feels absurd.
Her comments about the girls especially about lending them her things also felt strange. Lending people your belongings is kind and generous, but it feels like she’s trying to highlight how much she does for them while portraying herself as a victim who has to walk on eggshells around the girls. No one has the right to hate you for being interested in men who are interested in you as well. That’s completely normal. So instead of being vague or contradictory, why not just be straightforward about it? You don't owe anyone an explanation but girl you've already put yourself in a questioning position.
Doubt: who gave minjee the other red heart tho. One was from seung il. One golden one from the buff guy(who is…
Actually I'm confused too. I wish we know. I thought the red was from Hyeon woo the buff guy since she was his top pick before while the gold could be from any of the guys
This is the worst season of them all. Even Season 3 with red-flag Gwanhee was still more bearable than this, and you know it has gotten really bad for me to even say that
Was it explained in the novel why ZX didn’t text XG back when she texted him about not knowing him and Rong were in a relationship after she confessed?
I know many won't like my comment, but i loved this drama till episode 20 ish and then had to FF a lot. the Slow…
I like it from start to end and I can say this is my best Gu man drama that I enjoyed and didn't find boring or lacking at all. Everyone to their taste and opinion
I would go crazy too if I fumbled a girl like her. The fact that they could’ve ended up together if he hadn’t been such an ass to her (I'm glad that didn't happen). Now he’s fighting for something that’s long gone, and it’s clearly too late. He had multiple chances but ruined every single one of them. He has no one to blame but himself. Honestly, he deserves the embarrassment, this is the consequence of taking someone special for granted.
I like the new episodes, and I especially loved how NXG finally put Rong in her place. It was long overdue, and honestly very satisfying to watch. I love the sweet moments between the leads 😍 can't wait for their dating era 😜
Can they please get sml’s constant grumpy, miserable face off the screen? I’m tired of him looking perpetually unhappy and ruining every light or joyful moment with his gloomy presence.
NXG doesn’t owe him anything. He had his chances and wasted them with indecision, mixed signals, and cowardice. Instead of sulking, acting like a victim and blaming her, he should take responsibility for his own actions and move on. At this point, his self-pity is just exhausting and unnecessary.
NXG handled the situation with far more maturity and grace than I would have. If it were me, I would have completely cut those friends off after everything that happened. The lack of trust, the bias, and the willingness to believe the worst of her say a lot about the kind of friendship and it’s not one worth holding on to.
This wasn’t even toxic like You Everything Else, but I agreed that it was frustrating. The love triangle felt completely unnecessary, especially since what drew most of us in from the start was the beautiful bond between the girls. Their friendship had so much potential for depth and growth, but instead, the focus kept being love triangle with Jaepil.
I would’ve loved to see more of their individual journeys, how they supported each other through challenges, and how their friendship evolved over time. The story could have explored themes of self-discovery, loyalty, and healing majorly instead of circling around repetitive love triangle drama. It had all the right ingredients to be a heartfelt coming-of-age drama centered on friendship and empowerment, but the unnecessary emphasis on the love triangle overshadowed what could have been a genuinely meaningful and inspiring narrative.
My new theory is that YR and her bro’s friend, will eventually end up together or an open-ending initiating something romantic will happen between them. As for JH, I think she might end up with YS, although it’s clear she still has lingering feelings for JP. After all, she kept his sneakers for all these yrs. That detail alone shows she hasn’t fully moved on.
JP, on the other hand, seems likely to end up alone. He appears to have developed feelings for YR now (or maybe not), but I doubt YR would want to be with him, mainly because she might believe he still has unresolved feelings for JH.
7 yrs ago, JH ended things with JP because YR liked him, and this time, I think YR will be the one to let go of her own feelings totally. In the end, I think all three of them will find closure and remain close friends.
Yeah I don't think anyone assumes he will ditch her. I personally don't even want him with JH as an end game anymore.…
Seven years have already passed, and we should take that into account. This isn’t something that happened just yesterday, and they’ve all remained close even their families. We don’t know what happened during all those years, but even their friends are now pushing them to be together.
Maybe read and comprehend before you say things.
