I have a question!! Why is Madame Jin Se role so important?? I mean, I think she comes at most of 6-7 scenes....…
hmm interesting.. i'm not sure either. she didn't really have that major of a role nor was the acting that spectacular.. maybe the actress is just popular?
When you guys watched this did the theme songs gets stuck in your head?! Both the opening and ending songs have…
they really went above and beyond for the OST and bgm in this. i'm one who usually has no patience for the opening and ending themes too but here i will always listen through.
I enjoyed most of this, though the side story of Princess Leyan didn't do anything for me, and I found the animated…
there's some rule or something now (was implemented last year i think as tlb was filming or after) that dramas have to be less than 50 eps bc apparently many dramas have way too many eps (for money grabbing purposes?) and this causes or is at the very least one of the reasons why the quality becomes bad as the dramas are just being prolonged and dragged on and not bc the story necessitates for it to be long.
seems like the rule is kind of pointless anyways though since upcoming dramas just circumvent that by making more seasons (so if a drama was going to be 60 eps, they would just split it as s1 - 30 eps s2 - 30 eps and i guess that is considered ok)
Don't mind me just in the comments here ranting about a minor character and a pretty minor scene that probably…
rant away, honestly to bring out strong emotions (even negative ones) is what compelling storytelling should lead to. i had major issues with how that went down too.. obv she loves her husband but the governor death's saved many countless lives. her death didn't do anything except to purge herself of having to live without her husband. whenever a child is involve, they should definitely be the highest priority. the governor die thinking that lil yuan would at least still have her mother. so his wife killing herself definitely would not be something the governor wanted. even though yuan still had the old man and others, it isn't the ideal situation esp when her mother didn't have to choose to kill herself. sigh...
First 20 episodes or so was amazing but the second half was utterly disappointing Formulaic and repetitive storyline,…
yea the last arc definitely fell flat. wish they could kept up the quality all the way until the end since i love the first 3/4 so much. wish they had fought side by side more too; they're two badass individuals who would've kicked even more ass together.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CSHPSXogqSi/ it's funny how leo/ashile tribe men gets tease for their posture/walk all the time. tbh though i didn't really consciously notice until raba talked about it in an interview. but i like it... really gives off a authoritative 'i'm in charge' vibe/aura
awesome. love his reply too "thank you jing jing" showing YAMG some love too
hmm.. not really. i actually tend to watch and enjoy modern dramas more since i understand them better. i watch historicals once in a while. even watching tlb was more of an accident as it was just something that was playing in the background when i was at my cousins. it just so happened to catch my interest as i saw snippets of it (cuju game really caught my attention). i am watching Ashes of Love now though
i think this is quite fast pace especially in the early eps for a chinese historical drama. don't know if that's…
i've seen clips of leo's character in it.. seems like a very spunky and fierce character. i can imagine his character as a younger, more lively Sun lol
