i still find it funny/interesting when i see people saying they were worried about starting this because it's 'long' at 49 eps.. guess i am used to watching even longer dramas and never really having a problem with having too many eps. but going into this, didn't think 49 would be too much and certainly after watching it, wished we had more eps.. too bad they were right at the time of the new 'less than 50 eps' rule -.- really would've appreciated even just 1 more ep to really tie things up properly.

hmm.. can't say i have.. i havent watched but maybe Nirvana in Fire? (leo as a young teen is also in it).. people seem to say Hu Ge's character is really good

tbh, most dramas i watch always drop off in quality in the last few eps.. i'm not sure i can name any drama where i liked the last half better than the first half. i was hoping TLB would be able to maintain that quality until the very end.. bit disappointed that it didn't but again with my experiences (albeit limited) with other dramas, this is still the best in recent years.

while not crazy hectic, it's still quite active for an MDL page and yes still new viewers showing up; so happy to see that.

yess when they drag out not knowing females in disguise are females, it's so ridiculous.. i watched In A Class of Her Own before this and it took both MLs pretty much the whole drama before they found out even though there are wayyy too many chances of when they could've found out. it was beyond suspension of disbelief.

yep, i don't usually notice the bgm much but here, they did a really good job with it that it does enhance every scene and its mood.

love that their performances really makes people change their initial impressions/reservations.

once you finish, you may find that it's not enough episodes! lol

"This drama was the right choice to start my C-drama journey." sure is, you hit the jackpot with this one! only problem is it may affect the c-dramas you may watch next, might not meet the standards of this. don't be too disappointed!
