according to Iqiyi's sub, those scene that has a different aspect ratio are flashback from one year ago. i assume you are watching viki's sub which is missing this info

Wait for unofficial uploads as usual or vpn. Usually (but not always) if it is available on another streaming platform, it will not be avilable on viki. But for me i it is not available on both iqiyi and viki

It was not bad as I thought but the rating it's disappointing!!
Many people are confused when ep 1 and 2 air. Ep 3 and 4 is better received. From the long teaser of ep 5 and 6 it seems like good stuff are coming so hopefully it will improve the ratings
