Dont get the ratings drop for Love next door but it seems like people rather watch over the top violent psychotic…
After a day of being sucked dry by the mundane grind of life, some people want to zone out and watch "over the top violent psychotic crap" where they can vicariously throw a desk at someone's face. That's more entertaining than "romantic" crap or watching two people agonize over their feelings for hours
I mean yeah cuz HATERS GONNA HATE (js ignore them)
"Straight" stories have a curious habit of reducing women to one-dimensional, interchangeable accessories who exist for the purpose of pining after or being rescued by men. Every time a woman tries to assert her individuality or complexity, she’s whacked back into her designated box
People put their brain on "standby" to gobble up these stories. It’s there, but they're not using it
I mean yeah cuz HATERS GONNA HATE (js ignore them)
Clearly, I watch BL and GL because I'm a woman hater. What better way to show my hatred for women than to want them to be happy with other women, right?
I'm kidding. I'm not a woman hater, I'm just a lover of same-sex love stories
You watch dramas like this while under the influence of something, don't you? That'd explain your 10/10 rating. They hypnotized you with their stunning mediocrity
The extreme fan service that Thai bl couples go through is quite exhausting. And the fans' delusions are scary.
Exhausting ... Watching actors giving each other sultry looks, holding hands, kissing like there’s no tomorrow, etc, is exhilarating. There's no harm in imagining that two men are in love. We're not planning to stalk them or anything. So relax and let the imaginary romance sweep you away into blissful fantasyland
Charles without Anson… I don’t mind having different partners, I’m against fixed partners but and as a long…
I appreciate the dynamic that can be developed between a fixed pair of actors over multiple BL projects. The exploration of on-screen chemistry would create a sense of continuity for fans
Taiwanese and Korean BL couples exude authenticity and genuine connection, both on and off-screen. There are Thai BL couples who possess a similar level of chemistry and charm
I wouldn't mind if actors ventured into more BL/gay collaborations and fanservice, or if they were paired together…
"Suggestive" fanservice is a universal language spoken across the entertainment industry. Every time a celebrity bats their eyelashes, leans in too close, or whispers lines of provocative dialogue, they are engaging in "suggestive" fanservice
"Straight" media is no stranger to it. Any close interaction between a man and a woman, occurring in the context of a real-life celebrity performance or a fictional story (film, television, animation, video games, etc, "kiss" and "sex" scenes), is a form of fanservice intended to appeal to the fantasies of the audience. Audiences vicariously experiencing the physical closeness of their favorite on-screen couples through fanservice isn't limited to BL/gay media. And BL actors shouldn't be chastised for engaging in that suggestive behavior
Fans generally understand that fanservice is an act enhancing their viewing experience, and are unlikely to hold it against actors when they move on to other BL projects with different male co-stars
The personal lives of actors are private matters, I prefer to focus on the on-screen personas and not the off-screen activities
"Ditching the genre?" Dude, he's an actor. And actors act. That's what they do. The best actors act in diverse…
Fans are entitled to voice their disappointment if an actor they admire decides to leave behind a genre that resonates with them. It's their opinion
K-BLs not being big-budget isn't a permanent state. The popularity and success of K-BLs is on the rise, and with increased support from fans and industry professionals, they will become more mainstream in the near future
Even if K-BLs are currently limited in budget, they offer unique opportunities for actors to challenge themselves and to be part of something groundbreaking for the gay and BL communities
An actor's support for the gay community outside of his work is important, but it's unlikely to have as much of an effect as BL/gay roles, which have the potential to reach a wider audience
We know about Jae Chan's gay role in "Bitter Sweet Hell." He was brave to accept the role. To continue showing his gratitude to the communities that helped launch his career, Jae Chan should consider accepting more gay roles and ensuring that diverse storytelling isn't forgotten in mainstream media
What goes on the Internet, stays on the Internet. If you don't want your old comments to come back and haunt you,…
I'm not attacking anyone. I'm just saying this is the internet. Every word or action sticks around like a permanent marker on a whiteboard. So, when people find your old comments, it's not stalking, it's the internet being the internet
awww Gosh youre right, like all BL fans I was a loser, thank God I got cured. 😘
Punching the people who threw a punch at you can be understandable, but you haven’t met every BL fan and you can’t possibly know if they’re all "losers" or nasty to you. I scrolled down, most of them weren't nasty. Punching the people who haven't lifted a finger isn't as understandable
I got stalked y'all, they are stalking me😭...I don't even visit their pages unless it's to block but they be…
What goes on the Internet, stays on the Internet. If you don't want your old comments to come back and haunt you, don't treat the Internet like your personal diary. Or switch to smoke signals and carrier pigeons. Those things are hard to archive
I am THAT type, the type who isn't afraid to make waves and speak my mind. If that makes me "unhealthily obsessed," I'll take the title and wear it with pride. Being "normal" is overrated anyway
People put their brain on "standby" to gobble up these stories. It’s there, but they're not using it
I'm kidding. I'm not a woman hater, I'm just a lover of same-sex love stories
People hating on this drama isn't "suspicious." It means that the initial excitement has worn off, and people are starting to see the flaws
The "chemistry" being "top notch" is a matter of opinion. I see it as bland and forced
The only running I wanted to do after the drama's release was to the nearest exit

You used to have good taste and now you don't, what a downgrade
Don't you worry, I'm fluent in sarcasm. It's a human-approved language if I do say so myself
Have a splendid day/night
