I think it would have been easy for Deng Kai, and the director, to portray Qi Min as a 2d villain - just bad, because that's what the story says he is. Clearly, they instead went for a deeper approach and I think Deng Kai went the extra mile in understanding Qi Min's background and motivations and produced a very believable character. I love that these posts give us an insight into that, and round out some of the backstory that the drama didn't get into.

Short format dramas are a whole different beast. I've found that its best to go in without any expectations and see how they go! So far, I'm enjoying it (I'm 6 eps in). The story is interesting and the acting is great. 😊 I'd recommend watching episode 6 before you decide!!
