It is fun to ague about these things, but instead of rebating points I feel like we were going in circles when my argument is pretty simple. Hopefully there would be other topics where we get to repeat this in the future.

One should never go after a friend's love interest "under no circumstances", specially in Dramaland.

Labels seem to be the only way on how you think you can win an argument. You are changing lanes and referring to the female lead choices when that was not even part of my argument in the first place. For the third time, I am talking about two friends, in this case the male lead and his friend. For your information, I believe the same applies for girls, a girl should not date her friend's man under no circumstances.

We agree about a couple being about two, and those two have to agree to the relationship, but this conversation is not about the girl, is about two guys and their friendship. The ML saying that he is fine with his friend liking the girl he likes is an unrealistic trait to show us how healthy is the mind of the male lead, and I actually applaud that, but I insist that it is not for the male lead to block or deny the friend, it is for the friend to keep his distance. He would not make himself miserable, on the contrary, he would keep his friendship with his friend and the girl, and knowing that she likes him too is only the best choice to find his other half which is obviously not the female lead. Miserable would be that he ended up dating her only to feel guilty for being with his friend's girl and never be able to be loved by the girl "he thinks" he likes. We know how this dramas go, she is not his other half, and the sooner he realizes that the better for himself and everyone around him.

It is not for the ML to block his friend, it is for the SML to keep his distance and respect his friend.

Tsk, tsk, tsk ... that's just sad. A friend that's so much a friend that's equal or closer to a brother cares not only about his friend but also about his feelings, so he would never date his friend's girl. I am not talking about people that happen to know each other, I am talking about childhood friends and best friends. I found funny how you said almost with pride that you know group of friends that have dated the same girl. I also don't get how this is "immature", and not thoughtful instead. SMH ...

Still, one should never break the Bro Code. I don't like love triangles but it is the worst when it is within friends and family...

Please read my comment again... It does not matter who broke up or why, you just DO NOT go after your friend's girl even if that's past, preset or future under "no circumstances". If a guy does that he was never a friend, and more in Dramaland where the only true love is the one between the main leads; that's why they are the main leads, and everyone else is a support character...

Yet another secondary male lead not respecting the Bro Code... You don't go after the girl that your friend likes under no circumstances.

Because a 30 to 40 year woman is still young, and they can be way more interesting that the younger ones used as main characters in most stories. A young man mature enough and not afraid of what others may say is interesting as well.

Another love triangle drama ...? They seem to be everywhere, I guess I'll just keep looking.

Don't tell me... another drama with a bothersome third person for an unnecessary love triangle... Depending on how bad it is, I may skip the third person too.

I love happiness and love in Dramaland, but writers have traumatized a lot of us. We can't seem to enjoy anything that seems too good to be true without a shadow of angst and heartbreak going around those happy moments! That's why even if those might be boring, I prefer lighthearted stories or one with good enough character development, deep plot and even villains if that means the writers won't use heartbreak instead of good storytelling, and I hope that's the case with this one!

I hate love triangles for shows like this! It is like nobody wants to write a proper story with an interesting plot a d character development, and instead use a love triangle as plot which may work for older shows, but we should be in a place where love triangles are not often, and even if they are, they only occupy a small space and serve some purpose.

My thoughts exactly! I would prefer a proper plot, character development or even a villain!

I was having a very good time with this show, but hating love triangles as much as I do, I am very uncomfortable with what seems to happen on episode 12.
