What is with the fixation writers have with Love Triangles? isn't better to dedicate more time to plot, character development or the main romance itself... it gets tiresome to find the same thing everywhere...

I completely agree! Just watched episode 2, and I like the show so far. The production and acting is good, and whoever who thinks otherwise should maybe try going through the nightmare I went through by watching "Hello Again" or "Bromance"... I am scarred for life now...

What is the "hate" about?

Hey! I wanted to watch this one, but I hate love triangles, and social media showed a lot of interactions with the SML/villain for this one.

I hate love triangles because they usually take too much screentime, time that could be used to develop the plot, character development or the main couple.

That being said, could you please tell me when do the main leads get together?

I understand that places in Dramaland are fictional worlds where writers can play with logic and common sense, but they should also make sure to inmerse the viewer to a point where their fiction or storyline and storytelling makes sense... but shows like this one require you to lower your IQ to unhealthy levels in order to make sense of the story, the characters choices and plotline. This show will appeal to those who like crossdressing, or even a little of BL, but otherwise, this is far from good.

I will give "Bad Buddy" a try if I can find it.

Ouch! coming from another drama where the FL was rude and selfish all the way, I am not ready for another self centered FL anytime soon.

I had to put this one on hold on episode 7, since they started to drag a little, and the dynamics of the main couple was going in circles in my opinion. However, I still believe there is great potential here, so hopefully I will get back to it, and it will get better soon.

Call me a masochist, but I am still watching this. Now on episode 7, I got reminded of your original comment. She is talking to the "former" lesbian girl that somehow like her just because she is the female lead and asks if she has a boyfriend, to what she replies that she doesn't, but she has a very close guy friend and is not the male lead; she says that this friend arrived in her life in her "worst" moment, and I just thought to myself "wait minute, isn't that the ML, who literally solves your debt of 10 years", additionally, we don't get to see how the other guy, the friend "helped her" so much, but I strongly believe he didn't do more than lurk around her. Proof of this is that he apparently had the means to help her, but never did and that shows when he takes her to meet an extremely important business man for a very important project, which raises the question of why he didn't do it before while she was being chased for 10 years by debt collector wannabe gangsters. I lost hope in her common sense long ago, but her character is just that bad.

I am still here against my better judgement on episode 7. The show is supposed to be good because is "lighthearted" and "funny", but so far has a villain with no motivation or reason to be harassing some people, a love triangle that seems to be only to drag and comedy that's hard to get most of the time. I am very willing to skip and fast forward with the hopes that this will get good at some point.

I might do that... they didn't even add a love triangle for him for balance. The chances of the good outweighting the bad with the later romance is very low.

I feel you completely! I am on episode 6, and I am only putting myself through this torture with the hope that romance will be somewhat good when they finally get together.

I can forgive episode 1, but now on episode 6 and the pushing around and teasing between the main leads is not getting to me nor I find it funny. It does not help that all side characters without exception are annoying up until this episode.

If dragging this until episode 12 (when they get together) wasn't annoying enough, they introduce an unnecessary and heavy love triangle as soon as episode 1. I understand that some love triangles contribute to character development, the plot or even the main romance, but I don't get any of that from this guy other that getting in between the actual thing (romance) here.

I don't want to, but I can't help to skip and fast forward by now to see if I can get to the actual romance and fingers crossed it can make up for the horrendous first 10 to 12 episodes...

Yes, this have a love triangle! and if you (like me) don't really get some of the comedy here, you will suffer the constant presence of the secondary male lead behavior like he is the FL's shadow.

It gets worse because the initial relationship between the main leads is that of teasing each other, while this other guy is the classic friend that has been in love with the FL since forever but have never acted upon it. He spends so much time in her house and around her that he could be her actual brother by now (episode 6)...

Good news! I did my homework, and while it is true that he likes her and spends a lot of screentime with her, she never likes him. Now that I know this, I can focus on main leads interaction until they finally get together on episode 11 to 12.

Hola! Just started watching this one, but the comedy seems to be over the top and the plot is weak. I know we are not supposed to take it seriously but too many things make no sense here.

Hey! I am on episode 3, and right from the start on episode 1 there this lawyer friend who obviously likes FL. It is not clear if she likes him, but she is around her Everytime he gets a chance.

No Love Triangles? I am on episode 2, and this other guy is all over the place with a lot of screentime, and he is always by the FL...

... already seen the FL crush so hard on this other guy, that it was hard to believe she was deeply in love with the ML.

On another hand, the trope of the perfect guy being secretly or openly in love with the FL, while she is obviously somewhat interested, but for some reason the guy has been just "there" for years until the male lead shows up, is BS.. since if they liked each other they would have been dating by now.

Overall, love triangles like this ones can help causing some jealousy, but that's only Okay if is for short scenes during an episode or two, instead of making this other guy somewhat of another lead whose only purpose is to waste time that could be used otherwise developing the plot, side stories or the actual romance.
