The episodes go by fairly quickly, and some business and even family scenes can be skipped and you won't miss much, and will get faster to their getting together... I personally am rewatching this and I will be skipping some characters without any regret...

This kind of shows "need" love triangles on both sides. Writers love to focus on the female lead's love triangle with a guy that is the opposite of the male lead, and the best option on paper, which makes everything about who she actually loves in the end, I guess, but to make things fair, and for the female to become a bit jealous and maybe be pushed towards the male lead earlier, a love triangle (an unsuccessful one of course) might be needed on the male lead's side...

A person does not have to be evil to be "wrong" or to harm others, which is what this woman represents. She is manipulative and like many do in real life, is projecting on her daughter and setting her own expectations on her like she was her avatar in a videogame. Yes, a mother should worry about their child, but if that "child" is an adult, the mother should change roles to a supporter and and not a puppeteer master...

This is true for older women and young men romances, and not only that, they always get a love triangle with someone that seems to be the best option "on paper", but I feel like writers should work harder on making the male lead the right choice beyond being crazy in love...

Great! Now I have another reason to enjoy and finish my rewatch! to reach these special episodes!

As long as they don't use a stupid love triangle or break up during these three episodes, I will be happy to watch them as soon as I finish my rewatch of "The Rational Life"...

This show will not have a break up after the leads get together again, because I cannot even begin to imagine that the writers would be so inconsiderate or disrespectful towards to audience to have the main leads break up after all this time waiting and for a "healing" drama...

I feel like the writers wanted us to emphasize with him in this episode and understand his side of things, and how painful a one sided love really is (maybe even as a parallel to the one sided love that FL claimed for her and ML), but like me, and you, this cannot be the case because Sang Do is not someone who deserves pity, since he did all this to himself by breaking the Bro Code, and even after that for being delusional and completely out of place as a "friend" and a member of the community in a small town where everyone knew ML and FL belong together!

I have had the pleasure to find what I mentioned before a few times, but I hope more options are available in the near future

While I hate the dad's character, I must say that the actor is on a different level! That man is a great actor!

At this point I am sure that all the hate from the father and the stress he constantly causes to the mother which also reminded her of the death of her very best friend is the mai. reason why she is sick... He doing two things his wife would hate to happen; he is breaking their kids apart and he is literally, killing her best friend...

Two things I need writers to either stop using or use in a more smart and efficient way for the plot. Those are "Love Triangles" and the "making someone a killer" or "responsible" for the death of someone because of an accident or in some cases because the person was around or something like that at the moment of the accident...

That would have been a much better Love Triangle! Sang Do serves no purpose and is dead weight to a relationship that is already at the bottom... plus he is the worst friend ever..

I believe the female lead is aware about her feelings for ML, and deep down is not like she doesn't want to get together, but she is haunted by the reason they broke up, and family seems to be very important, and I am sure she wouldn't want to be the cause for father and son to distance from each other plus this culture seems to strongly believe in not only a relationship between individuals, but also between their families with small expectations where the family does not get involved or is just not present in the story. It only makes sense that it is ML chasing FL, but I get your point, she should start moving in his direction more and more at this point. And about the Love Triangle, I hate love triangles, but I understand that if used properly it can contribute to the story, however, in this case it adds nothing to the story, on the contrary, it takes from the story and promises to bring more problems and obstacles to the already difficult reconciliation between the main leads. That love triangle should have been addressed earlier, and more time should have been dedicated to the plot and even side characters...

Maybe I am missing something, but I don't feel like anybody is making ML responsible for the break up, or giving him hard time because of that. After the previous episode it seems to be clear that one of the reasons why the female lead is running away from getting back together with the male lead is because his dad doesn't want them together.
