She is feeling his absence, and will continue to feel his absence even with the Team Leader trying to replace him. There are few things that could be the turning point for their relationship, and this three things could happen together or not.

The most obvious because of the preview is that because of his departure she goes to the airport to try to stop him or that he turns back and decides to get his new family back.

The second is not likely, but that she goes on the third date after the Team Leader continues to play replacement for our uncle, and that she realizes that our uncle cannot be replaced for her nephew and in her heart.

And, the third that must happen eventually to make her finally do something for him, is that she either has to find out the reason why he is leaving which is to sacrifice himself for his new family, like his brother did and/or (what would kill two birds with one stone) that she finds out that the team leader is not that good of a person, and that he pushed our uncle away to take his place.

I wish I was the writer to write something better... but no, I just decided to stop complaining about the love triangle and just enjoy what I can, like "Our Uncle".

For the first time, I watched everything without skipping and everything makes sense to me now. Some parts are still annoying, and the setup is taking too long, but I can see what they are trying to pull with her choosing her heart and not what looks more convenient. However, we go back to the original problem where the plot should not be about the love triangle.

After watching episode 9 and paying attention to all details, she still looks uncomfortable with SML, but seems helpless. She doesn't even look confused to me, she looks defeated, like there is nothing she can do about it.

We finally get some well deserved attention to Tae Hyeong! Our favorite uncle finally finds the truth about his bother's sacrifice for him and sad reality of what his father did. He is conflicted and like his brother is willing to sacrifice his happiness for the people he cared about. I have no doubt that after all of the efforts of the writers to show how his life has been miserable until now, things will look better for him soon now that he has touched bottom. I am looking forward to what will happen to "Our Uncle" in the next episode.

I think episode 9 is one of the best episodes in the show so far

I made my mind. While others whatch our sunbae, I'll watch Our Tae Hyeong, and will either skip, fast forward or just not pay attention or importance to that dumb love triangle anymore. I am a sucker for the main couple getting together, but whatever happens from here, I just want Our Uncle to get his happy ending.

I don't think we will be that lucky. I think that of we are patient and watch one more episode we will see the main couple living together again, and maybe, just maybe, FL will keep things professional with SML, but even then, she won't directly reject him trying to be kind... so not even the white truck will come to save us this time...

I agree. He will stay, and maybe will fight for his nephew, and maybe for the girl, but I don't see SML going away until the last episode.

Episode 9, like every other episode shows that she prefers ML, but takes him from granted, and while she doesn't really have feelings for SML she just let him do whatever he wants which makes him think that he has the right to do these things and keeps pushing and pushing. The problem is until when? until she is married with three kids, having to treat her nephew like an outsider in the future and full of regrets? What's more frustrating that everything else is her inability to say no and put some space with SML...

Part of the problem is that she should know by now that is an empty shell...

That ML actually leaves for USA, and then there is a timeskip, and during that time skip thanks to FL being a pushover she entered a superficial and hollow relationship with SML where only he is happy while she is being destroyed inside every day only to encounter ML years after and only then after even almost getting married to SML she turns to ML after his life has a new direction and he is finally leaving his trauma behind, to, of course, decide to throw all his progress to the garbage to rescue her from her own consequences... now, that would be frustrating and extremely sad... and even then, she wouldn't know how to say no to SML who takes 3 inches every time he is given one... LOL

You know what would be more frustrating now?

Like what is FL's problem! Why is she letting all this happen when she obviously doesn't want any of this to actually happen! And what about SML, that parasite...

I will watch episode 9 today, but if what comments say is true, then ouch... hahaha

Would you mind if I add something extra? What if we get the best and worst all together? We could get that thanks to the distance between ML and FL, FL will wake up and move forward ML, and even start start dating if we are lucky, but still have SML not giving up and still trying to take her time even if she grows a pair and reject his advances... that would be my bet for episodes 9 and 10

I am hoping for the same. We have already seen that they have feelings for each other, and she has been able to experience the superficial sample of relationship with SML and the fulfilling interactions and romance with ML, and a bit of distance should make her see the obvious and make up her mind, because it she keeps being a pushover, SML is just going to keep taking advantage of her...

If this ends up being a empty promise, let's find comfort in the fact that Dramaland is huge and better ones will come
