A third thing I have to complain about is how the Queen mother and the old man tell the royal family that they are weak, which is not true!

I have only two complains about this show so far. 1. The villain has too much power to the point that makes no sense, since he has control over things that are literally impossible or one in a million chance; he seems to have influence over everything when it is clear that the only person he can "use" is the old man. 2. The old man himself, his character is contradictory, he is not good or bad, but seems to be the real villain since he not only made a "mistake" with the former king, but concealed the information from the new king with the excuse of him not being ready or something, and for some reason keeps cooperating with the bad guy when he is painted to be someone that takes action always for the best of the country... The show would be much better with a proper villain and an actual bad guy helping him...

Episode 14. I am happy with the romance, sometimes is better to have a plot and romance as a complement, this way, the romance can be developed and the story does not have to rely on unnecessary and cliche couple "problems", break ups and more.

The king's worst enemy is that "uncle" old guy... He should be repenting from his mistake that ended causing the dead of the former king instead of contradicting everything the new king does and ignoring his authority.. smh

The little friend that shows on episode 3, is a Leopard Gecko, and they are amazing pets and beautiful reptiles! The girl that called the small Leopard Gecko disgusting is the disgusting one, and the way the "villain" treated the the small friend grabbing him by the tail which is not good for them was a miss for the production.

Maybe is too early, but the villain makes no sense. He is just exaggerated and ridiculous...

Just finished episode 2, and I can understand that he is spoiled and lazy, but never why he has to be so rude. Like many other comments say, his lack of empathy and childish behavior make no sense since he is a 30 year old man.

Hola! I am on a path where I just don't want the leads to be together, but want to enjoy story, character development and the overall romance, so decided to resume this one.

Just starting episode 5/16 and like other dramas I cannot understand why he is running away from his feelings. He likes her, but for some reason is avoiding it even when it is clear that she likes him too..?

Side note: I strongly believe that a woman getting married or getting kids does not mean that she cannot be happy and free! It does not matter if she is 80! Go out, have fun and be happy!

After more than 100 shows in Dramaland I have learned to appreciate the romance before and during dating, and this one does this very well!

I love my Noona romances, but this one makes something clear, and that is that the older person do not have to behave like they are 70 and the younger one does not have to behave like is 10 years old.

I do not know if is because of society, but a woman that is 30 to 35 years old is not an old lady, so she can laugh and be goofy, she can act like a teenager sometimes, and our female lead here is just that! I also appreciate that they did not have to make the male lead childish to highlight that he was younger!

That too! I have encountered a few more mature dramas, and that has changed how I like my romance in Dramaland...

I did not agree with her attitude during the first episodes, but at least could understand since she was forced to get married, but what I could never understand is why she continued to be this way even after she accepted his feelings by accepting to be his wife, and after the misunderstanding was quickly addressed in the same episode, and more in a society where having concubines is normal, and not even since he did not have a relationship with his new wife (that again, was perfect for him, I still don't know what he likes about the FL...

I am very loyal to the idea that say that the leads should always end up together since they are the leads in the first place, but this one was the exception for me.

Good to know... I will keep watching but on the side when I need a breather since I do not mind slow burn romance, but I do mind dragging romances.. thanks for your comment

Wait a minute... does she ask for divorce again on episode 20? I was a bit sad when the male lead got married to the princess, but soon after, I was actually happy about it with hopes for him to fall in love with his wife, and for her wife to fall in love with him, because even though I don't dislike the FL, she has been hurting him from the beginning.. one thing is that she does not like him, and that's Okay, but another thing is to constantly remind him that she does not like him and is counting the days to leave him... I ask about her asking for divorce again because I thought that at least they were past the divorce topic.

Hola! I have a question (asking for a spoiler) about "New Life Begins"! I know that it is an arranged marriage, so in theory, they get "together" since very early on the show, but I would like to know they "actually" get together, meaning, when do they take their marriage seriously and being their romance?

This comment is refreshing. I found this one on a list of "No break ups" dramas, so I decided to go through reviews and comments before I started watching it. I could not understand why everyone would complain but would praise how good everything was until they all fall into how boring and slow it can be. I do not have a problem with "slow" dramas if they are actually taking the time to develop characters or simply letting us enjoy the romance with no rush to end as soon as they are together without a third wheel or opposing family. I am only on episode one but the scenes showing the road and mountains have been breathtaking. Thank you for your comment on this one.
