Thank you for this review. I consider that not all dramas should be rushed and completed in a few episodes. I have been reading reviews and comments and everything is praise until someone says that the pace is slow, but there is nothing wrong with that and even less if is a beautiful and healthy romance.
I cannot understand why they keep letting this Pei guy go all the time only to have him betraying, kidnapping and killing someone every three seconds...
Hola! This seems like a good drama to get into! Sports and Slight Romance! However, I want to ask, about the romance, being a slight romance is good sometimes since that means that they might not waste time with too much romance drama and break ups. Can someone give me spoilers about the romance here? Will the male lead and his love interest remain until the end, or will they break up?
This one should be called "Saint Jun Soo with his Lover, Family and Friends!
I went through too many emotions for the first episodes, and then there was a lot that made no sense to me, but the more the story moved forward and the different characters started to evolve, everything fell into place! Masterpiece!
In what episode do they get together in "Ugly Alert"?
Hey! Finally Reached Episode 51! (I cried)...! The show is a completely different show now, but with an amazing background thanks to all previous episodes! I am happy that I am still some 80 episodes away of the ending for this strong and happy couple!
I decided to drop this one 3 episodes before the ending.
The romance is lacking and the sports as well. I am sure that many will love this drama, but I was not getting the sportsmanship, E-Sports Tournaments or a decent relationship.
The SML is the classic guy that has been a brother for the female lead since forever. He makes it extremely obvious that he likes her, but she is the only one that does not notice this.
They are all young, but the SML is too childish. He is one of those characters that takes every decision in life based on the FL.
He gets in the middle, but mainly because he behaves like he is dating the FL, and even prepares a huge birthday surprise to confess his feelings even when the FL and ML are already dating.
The fact that the ML spent too many episodes hiding who he really was followed by childish behavior in the relationship did not help in my opinion.
She never gets to turn him down since he never gets to confess, but he does the stupidest thing of finally telling her he liked her followed by I won't like you anymore since now or something like that.
If you are looking for E-Sport or Sport Dramas, there are much better options, the same for Rom-Coms, or No Break Up dramas.
Yeah , they do have break up.. but it’s not something like actual breakup .. it’s more like couple fighting…
I read in the comments that something happens before the last 30 episodes. Is that it? I noticed that whenever they have a problem it only takes 3 episodes: The episode of the problem happening, the episode of processing what happened, and the episode of the solution. Is that break up like that too, or how long does it take?
In what episode do they get together in "Ugly Alert"?
Thanks for recommending this one! I had to use my patience a lot for the first 12 episodes, but I am starting to enjoy the show a lot around episode 30.
I insist on the obvious mental problem of the male lead caused by his childhood traumas. He behaves like he was in a void and not jail, people that go to jail for "murder" do not leave with the mind of a 14 year old kid.
Tell me about it! On episode 8 now and I don't know what else can happen to the guy...struck by lightening? Pushed…
Maybe because one thing is being selfless, and another thing is having poor mental health and low self esteem and almost masochist tendencies leaving absolutely nothing to one self. I commend the whole love and sacrifice, but you have to love yourself first...
It's only between Gong brothers for short time. Jun So will do everything for his siblings, even try leaving Na…
I knew it!! This Male Lead is so stupid that he definitely would renounce to his true love for his ungrateful sibling! I just hope that that misunderstanding is resolved quickly because the the idea alone of a love triangle with the brothers and the girl, taking into consideration how masochist and poor health guy is the ML... it gets frustrating!!
I have watched till ep 41. I think the writer intended the MC's inner voice to be deep and meaningful but I felt…
On episode 10 now, and I feel that this was painted to be a beautiful sacrifice for your family, but it has only been about mental health and lack of self-esteem to the point of disregarding and disrespecting oneself...
In what episode do they get together in "Ugly Alert"?
I can only imagine the level of patience that is required to enjoy this show, because the male lead alone with all of his self sacrifice and the ungrateful siblings is stressing me out... And if that is not enough, the FL and the younger brother are having a romantic moments of the classic hate first like later... Like.. WTF..? I am sure the ML does not feel like he is good enough at the moment, and only has soul, brains and body to continue his path of self torture, but on top of that, I am sure he would give up on the girl he likes only because there seems or could be a possibility between this girl and his younger brother... I need this to start getting better for the male lead one way or the other because I am extremely upset!! The first 5 episodes were more than enough, but then they took it as far as the ML framing himself, and if that is not enough, the siblings do not know the truth and keep treating him like he is trash, and he is NOT! I repeat, on top of all that, they thought it was a nice idea to create sparks between the FL and the younger brother... Right now is hard to believe that the leads will ever get together in this life...
