That's interesting, thanks for the info. Unfortunately, finding English translations of Japanese novels is a nearly impossible task. I still crave to read some of the novels that were source material for certain anime series... sigh.

End of ep4 is suspicious. I wonder if Yuri isn't Amuro... His brother? Maybe Amuro died and left Yuri the barrette along with the mission of finding the owner. Or maybe I'm thinking too much. But something isn't right.

That's the part I don't get. Is it that much of an advantage to have a doctor slave in the house that they'd marry her off to someone who isn't even from a prestigious family? I understand why Se Gye is trapped, but I don't understand why they wanted him badly enough to trap him. oO

I agree. Even though I'm frustrated with most characters, I still want to know what becomes of them in the end. I'm not enjoying it, but it's somehow addicting. oO

I hate that it's not okay for him to have lunch with his friend, not doing anything criminal while at it, but it's okay for her to get drunk and hang on a guy's neck. The unfairness is so frustrating. Both Jae Soon and Se Gye deserve better lives, dammit.

I'm sort of confused as to how Se Gye even got into that marriage in the first place. I guess it's purely for money? But then I don't get why the rich family wanted him. I'm sure they could get themselves a doctor that the daughter actually likes? Really weird situation. The wife really annoys me, and no matter what Se Gye tries to say to her, the mother-in-law always butts in. He doesn't have anyone on his side. I feel lonely just watching him. /sigh

Judging from the preview, it seems Jae Soon will be the one to contact the ex from now on and bring the kids' to her when agreed. At least it's better than husband doing it. And the kids juuust might warm up to Jae Soon if they see she's not against them meeting their mom.

My heart aches for Jae Soon. I hate seeing her change because of jealousy and hopelessness. She deserves a better life for herself and her little boy. I do hope things work out between her and Geum Shik. They'll be a great family someday if that b-tch of an ex stops butting in all the time. She's so bloody annoying. Let you raise the children? God forbid. You had your chance at raising the children, you abandoned that task, and now they've grown into ungrateful brats. Do everyone a favor and leave that family alone.

For real. When she sneaked into his room to cook, and then was sobbing on the chair... damn oO I have a bad feeling she has yet to do some real harm.

It's funny that this is the highest rated of KDW's 3 dramas. This was probably the most boring drama I've ever forced myself to watch, and took me the longest. Didn't help that the video quality was like 240p. I wanted to throw myself a party when I finally watched half of it. Thank goodness it's over.

To any KDW fans reading this: No matter how desperate you may be, this drama isn't worth your time, even for KDW. He hardly even does anything there, just google some screenshots and you'll be good. Don't be like me. >_>

Of course the remake is going to be more popular. Don't care. I love this original drama. I love the cast, the leads are adorable, the family surprisingly didn't annoy me, and it just gave me the warm happy feels all throughout. It did get a bit draggy at times, but I forgive it. I was expecting something awful when I saw the ratings, but since I ran out of KDW things to watch, I went ahead with it anyway, and so glad I did. I guess it's the kind of drama you'll either love or hate. To each their own, but to me only this version exists. :)

For realllll. I was so happy that Gab Dol took studying seriously, helped his mom, heck even quit drinking. And now it looks like he's returning to his dumb self. I wanted to punch his friend who came to report on Gab Soon. Damn it -___-

I really liked her in Ai to Makoto. Her voice is magical.

I'll have to convince myself that he's older. Which is hard, since he looks way young. Anyway, I agree, his cocky personality is rather charming, the smile and all. ^^
