I really wanted to love this drama because I'm a fan of Solim couple from WGM but even they can't save the drama…
Nah, look at all the comments below ours. The Solim fans are especially upset and I can see why. I'm not dropping it yet because I've waited for SJR's lead role for way too long, so I hope his character improves at some point. /sigh
That awkward moment when even the writers got tired of the whole shotgun marriage idea and decided to scrap it and start from scratch. Smh. Now what? -_-
I don't know how I'll survive this many episodes if SJR's character continues being such a prick. I thought he redeemed himself a bit last week, but now he's even worse than in the beginning. And judging from ep5 preview, he'll be hanging out with some girls too? And what's with the pathetic crying after being punched (well-deserved) by hyung? It's ridiculous that he has the nerve to mention his poor mother praying every day. If you feel so bad, then bloody study for your exam. You can't work (you "can't do this anymore" after effortlessly doing one job for a few days), you can't study, you can't help around the house, yet you say something to Gab Soon who works like a horse while being pregnant and still feeds your lazy ass. I just don't understand what the actual f-ck. He wouldn't be freeloading at my place, that's for sure. I wish Gab Soon would stop forgiving him all the time. Raising a baby alone is difficult? From what I've seen, she'll do much better raising a baby alone than with that other overgrown baby. I get so angry watching this. Sorry about the long rant.
To be honest, hardly. There isn't much "playing" going on here, more like a pattern of MC asking tricky questions to dig out the contestants' sins. Whereas Liar Game is the actual game genre, competition, battle of wits and all that. I suppose the psychological aspect is similar, but I wasn't reminded of Liar Game while watching this.
Yes, but I wasn't expecting that I'd get tired after only 4/50 episodes x_x Anyway, I don't plan to let myself get behind on episodes, cause I sure as hell am not marathoning this LOL 2 hours per week is bearable.
I love Nagase. He's one of the few actors I'd watch anything for. Though I haven't seen as many titles yet, I did love him in every single one (Kurokochi being the most recent one for me). I've re-watched bits of My Boss My Hero more times than I can remember, same with Tiger & Dragon. IWGP became one of my all-time favorite dramas thanks to his collab with KY. Nagase is one of the most versatile actors and I'll never get bored watching him. He's gorgeous too (just saying). Thank you for the article. I hope more people get to discover and recognize his talent and charisma. <3
The teasers are magical, I absolutely can't wait!!!!! <3
