This is a major plot hole for me too. And why did Chung Ah end up in poverty in the first place? This is never addressed, which is regrettable and to an extent lacks logic because her father was never against her, though absent...

This drama gave me 25,21 vibes. And I can clearly say the latter was a complete surprise to me. There are only a few shows that I really like (while others I just watch for the fun of it, and to practice reading in a foreign language). Itaewon Class, Start-up, Youth of May, 25, 21, Weak Hero, Hidden Love are stories I really cherish. Dramas are often a hit or miss, I think.
It is quite sad that so few shows can have such an impact. But I can't complain too much, I've never really felt anything watching American or French TV so lol 😂
