It's absolutely amazing how despite being the same actress, I still "see" they look different. The expressions are spot on! You can tell who's who! Phenomenal!
I mean...there were guns involved in the filming of the last episodes...
Everyone says something different—some claim the final scene was filmed in a church because of the wedding, others say it ends with a gun, and I even read a sign language teacher purportedly praised the Park couple for their performances because Ho-su is going deaf. .. What's accurate...? God knows.
Many viewers say they're bothered by the fact that he's clearly showing feelings—suppressed, yes, and ones he himself finds odd—for Mirae, which seems to suggest he might be falling in love with the other twin. But what if we flipped the perspective? What if he didn’t feel anything, even while standing right in front of Miji? Wouldn’t that be even more unsettling? That would mean his emotions are processed purely through logic, while everything in him—consciously or not—is reacting to the person before him. Personally, I think this actually reveals something deeper: no matter her name, appearance, or words, his soul recognizes who he's really with.
He's a good guy, but I never liked romances that are "out of sight, out of mind". It's always either the existence…
I share your view entirely - this bothers me a lot, especially in this drama for some reason. But as others have said, we still don't know everyone's POV yet. And Manmanyiyi's point is also correct. I also appreciate that miscommunication and misunderstandings can go a long looong way. Especially for teenagers, who tend to be immature. Let's see how the plot unfolds.
For those wondering whether Hosu knows or not (spoiler)
In the interview tvn has uploaded, Jinyoung confirms that at this point, he still thinks that Miji is Mirae. Bo young also said that in Ep. 5 she will keep asking questions to Hosu about it (for instance, since when??), and this will almost turn into some form of harrassment (it might be the reason why in the preview we hear him say 'let's keep this stictly professional(?)). Miji will also be conflicted as to whether she should tell him the truth or not. Apparently, he will find out in Ep. 5!
Actually, it's pretty obvious that each twin has their own love interest that they could only truly be together…
I think Mi-Rae will quit her office job. Han Se Jin said he was working an office job before starting the project. Mi-Rae will bring a lot of focus, business strategy and general "organisation mindset" to his project. And they will become true "business partners". Stil haven't figured out what Mi-Ji will be doing.
I'm really puzzled by this too. There was a school days scene that implied he was dating Mi Rae. Maybe he did?…
In that scene, Mi-Rae was applauding, but also reviewing flashcards simultaneously to study. This scene , I think, was meant to clearly show how different the twins are: Mi-Rae was clearly career oriented very early on, and probably endeavoured to leave the countryside for the big city (the dreams most teenagers have, like make it big, work in a big company, etc. before you actually get to understand what office jobs entail), while Mi-Ji is the complete opposite (i.e., I'll run my ass off to be the first to get my food type of teen). Clearly, there is no "jealousy" or animosity between the two; they aren't following the same path. Based on the trailers, there was some kind of "incident" that may have caused havoc somehow - which may explain why everyone seems to be so "distant", including the mum. Also, it wasn't implied they dated. I think they were somehow "close" because she was the student head and, as such, was the only one who knew about his accident in order to properly guide him as a new student. Overall, I don't think Mi-Jae cares much about Lee Ho-Su in a romantic sense. Only my 2 cents though.
When watching the multiple trailers, including that of TVN, it's quite obvious LHS has been in love with Mi Ji for a long time. But any idea/ theories while waiting for the story to unfold, as to why he never pursued her, or not directly?
