you really have such superb acting. I don't know what else have you lied to me"
"I've lied about way too many things. when I first went to jinda group to interview you, I faked-fainted"
"the band-aid was bought by secretary chen. I saw how terribly touched you were, so I stayed silent. when you applied for the job at agave, didn't I recite the blog that you posted, "if grandma made me osmanthus jam one day, I won't have a lonely heart" that was such irrelevant writing!"
"didn't I tell you I used to learn ballet in school? I actually learnt street dance. popping! breaking! yo yo"
"I was never satisfied with every piece of clothing that you picked out for me. colour. quality. taste. all of them are terrible"
"your slicked-back hair, your suit and your glasses. are you short-sighted? why do you keep wearing them and pretend you're old-money?
the jewelry that you always gave me were old fashioned and tacky. anyways, gifts given by men are always around the same. I'm used to it"
"before you dated me, you said I was your only and first boyfriend"
I guess my standard is high as I consider him cheating once he lied to her wife on her birthday & multiple…
I do see your point. I've noted in reply below: They are both alike indeed. Just look at their detailed "con." Her whole fake-parents con was so meticulously done. When she "chases" someone, she goes all out in her checkup on the likes/dislikes and then, she moves in, like with the wealthy woman and the opera setup. Looking at the other side of the coin, there is HM's "con" of her, setting the whole lovey dovey hubs to draw her in. He has the same patience too; look at how he set up the bad guys and then WHAM! He clamps them down like the ruthless CEO-type he is.
I believe perspective can change at the flip of a coin. She understood him enough to want to start all over. Now it's his turn (2nd half) to understand her enough to BEG (heh) to start all over.
I haven’t read the comments here, but on other platforms it’s a mess. People are arguing about who’s right,…
It's a drama about grey characters, so of course, not being black or white, it commands many different types of emotional responses. That means the director and writer AND the actors did their jobs very well.
I've discussed it here before: the characters are drawn up to push the audience's emotional buttons too. One crosses a line and a bunch of people say "That's wrong!" while the rest is OK with it. In a later episode, one crosses a further line and a whole new bunch of people say "Hell, no!" while the rest is "Eh, we can still see the point here." Then one crosses yet one more line and now everyone is discussing whether THAT is the final line.
I find it more interesting watching the audience and how it is provoked as each of these lines is crossed. Grey characters (and their stories) tell more about ourselves than the characters themselves. JMO.
Hilarious🤣🤣 Shen Hao Ming watches Xu Yan's live stream and is also the highest gifter🤣🤣🤭🤭https://x.com/didi_luisa28865/status/1973990035977302097?t=oD5axowDAB5MhoVbRVr2SQ&s=19
Both Xu Yan and Haoming are interesting characters and I think the best way to fully appreciate this drama is…
Yes, I snickered at each of her lines. I love it when XY takes off her mask (and gloves) and shows her teeth. I've said before, in many ways, she is the Other Side of HM, with her ability to see details and find weaknesses. She just doesn't cross certain lines because her grandmother had taught her better. HM, however, was constantly told he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted, so his upbringing colored his actions.
Prediction: XuYan will be in fashion business of some sort. :)
I read a spoiler thing about HM helping her when her delivery broke down during a deadline by rushing out there himself and be delivery guy. HM by now has also suffered several humiliating setbacks (thugs?) at his current little hole. Again: my spoiler info is unverified.
Hi guys, kisskh is not working for me anymore.. can anyone suggest any good website ?? 🙏🏻🙏🏻
That's because you guys keep putting the site up without the spoiler tag, getting it taken down. And anyone else suggesting the sites without spoiler tag? Y'all know what's coming.
