They are interesting dichotomies because they reflect what the viewers' (or readers' because I read morally grey anti-heroes in my books) line is. Cross one line and some say no while others are okay with. He takes one more step, crosses another line, and it hits another group of readers. For me, it's a fun exercise to watch as I read the discourse here and on various forums. Perhaps I'm morally grey myself because I like to play with audience's/readers' emotions too, haha.
