I'm not sure, but he might have read that article she wrote and was struck by her words. Perhaps investigated her and found out more. Perhaps made a profile and sent out people to watch her work. See? I also heard in a later preview the freaken MIL knew all about this. It was all a play to get the FL in that state of mind of needing approval. I haven't seen the latest previews yet, so can't tell ya if it's true.
Aaaand I saw one spoiler (which I can't verify) on how that crazy 2FL played them all.... LOL
The DNA results--she faked them so as to stay near her obsession. Sis had an affair with someone else and was going to break up with ML on the day she died. UNVERIFIED, so don't hold me to it.
It's just discussion. One thing great about intrigues is that grey characters done well offer so many layers to their personalities. They make the audience think about their motivations and sincerity because they aren't black or white. Also, each of us is colored by our own lens of experience, so our opinions offer intriguing information about ourselves :-).
So glad you're enjoying the story and not just pounding on the characters, LOL. I love the story too.
I just love the director's work here. Every episode is so tense. The camera work makes the audience so hyperaware of all the undercurrents and the actors, following direction, took the story into another level with all the subtle look/smile/lift of the eyes. I'm such a fan, LOL.
