Come to think of it, it’s very ironic. The young phoenix FengYin wasn’t supposed to be born because there was supposed to be one phoenix at a time. The magical water beastie Ah Yin was also an egg that wasn’t supposed to hatch because it was “damaged” in the previous war that killed all its kind. And yet, in both instances, the YinSoul managed to do it. 😊

Many viewers rushed through it but all the story is told right there—from Ghost-AhYin’s mouth to the Little Singing Boy’s explanation of backstory to Ao Ge mocking Yanqqi about his sword to the devils explaining to each other why they needed the phoenix pendant stone to Dong Hua talking to the two elders about Gu Jin’s real identity to Gu Jin asking the Rock which demanded a calamity in return. It’s ALL there. 😝 There iare no spoilers after watching Episode 1!

Poor Ah Yin. He really killed her, then? But the ghost-AhYin in Episode 1 suggested otherwise?
