Yeah, I saw that and I'm looking forward to it. I get that it's not going to be smooth for them, sigh, but could we make the characters consistent? Since when have Mei Lin been so passive? LOL.

I'm now just waiting for the cliff scene where she had a knife to his throat, pushed him and jumped off. And MRJH followed while stupid XiyanGreenTea could only kneel and mourn. Maybe it'll get back on track by then, I don't know. My hopes are dwindling, though.

There better be a whipping of corpse! I'd rather watch that....

Unfortunately, his long con is still working for him. I hate his sweetly worded savagery to MRJH in the preview.

I can see who directed the bold MRJH and who directed a meek messy mouse MRJH. It's not good when competing ideas don't merge--the audience gets whiplash. My neck hurts.

The preview, from my understanding, doesn't move the "misunderstanding" or the "standoff." XiyanGreenTeaPrince is still pretending to be sweet and "oh I'm doing this for her freedom." He's damn sneaky. And Concubine Yan is the worst, still pushing Ah Mei, HER FRIEND, together.

The mine thing is going to be a mirror of Mei Lin's and XiyanGreenTea's first experience in the mines. May the knot be UNKNOTTED when these scenes come about!

I'm still pissed she did not participate in the revenge fight. It was her life's motivation. Now she just walks around as a symbol of peace for two nations? Bah.

So she came back and...and what...we see her making buns with XiyanGreenTeaPrince together? A stall? FOR REAL?!!
And then it's the trope of town people being poisoned and blaming the leads.
Will Mei Lin never see through the XiyanGreenTeaPrince?
And they brought in General Liao from The Double as the new Big Bad--my guess. Why? This is tiresome and tiring.
