I deleted My Love from the Star, and Secret Garden because they aired before 2016.

I didn't add What's Wrong with Secretary Kim as one of my top three, but I do think that it's overrated. I could not finish the first episode before dropping it.

I don't think True Beauty, and Itaewon Class are overrated, I think their ratings which are in the 8.0 zone (not rated a 9 or 10) is about right.

LOL @ pop off! I thought about saying the same thing, after adding The Untamed to this list. I tried watching that drama 3 different times because of the high ratings, but whewwwww, I thought it was pretty bad.

I agree! I finished watching that drama not too long ago. The male lead character is a sociopath. The male lead actor did an amazing job acting.

I said that because I am among the 1% of people who didn't enjoy the drama. In terms of popularity, I think Untamed, is like the BTS of South Korea, so I am careful about saying anything too negative. Nonetheless, I don't think enjoying it or not enjoying it is a bad thing, because it shows us how important it is to have diversity among storytelling, acting, genres, and interest.

I agree, this article is wonderful! It is so much better than the actual drama.

I thought about dropping it twice but I am glad that I stuck it out until the end. When you finally finish watching the last episode, you'd be grateful that you didn't give up. It's rare to see true love encaptured in dramas. A lot of dramas have a false love written in the script, which in reality is not love but abuse romanticized. However, the king's sacrifice in this drama was outstanding. I may rewatch it soon lol!

Japanese dramas are applicable. BTW, I have been searching for good Japanese historical/period dramas. Thanks for the recommendation. =)

I also thought about Princess Silver because of the king's unconditional love and sacrifice. Whewwww I cried because he gave up his life for his wife's happiness and safety. Meanwhile, she couldn't remember him, tried to kill him, and fell in love with someone else. SIGH!

I am debating whether or not I should change my votes. I enjoyed Joy of Life, Princess Agents, and The Story of Ming Lan. Ehhhhhh, 3 votes isn't enough. =)
