I agree with your review, especially the following statement "I would say if you're a person who gets easily attached to characters, this drama isn't for you."
Seems people used to confuse the two in the past too, though I wonder why, the two have very different looks.
Ah, thanks! I've heard about this drama but I probably didn't watch it because I tend not to like sci-fi/mystical dramas; obviously LOF is the exception lol. I will check it out, thanks for the recommendation. =)
It's completely fine that you think everything was perfect. I disliked it but I can understand why you (and others)…
Ah, I didn't mean to be contentious, I was just responding to what you wrote in your review. Also, even if you were to comment on the ending, you wouldn't be wrong by saying it was good or bad, as everyone is allowed to review the drama based upon their opinion of what they saw. I am not one of the people who get angry at someone for hating something that I love, even if I obviously disagree.
BTW, I agree with what you wrote regarding the difference between period and historical dramas, as it's exactly what I wrote lol. I think you misread my reply.

To me they look very similar in dramas but different in pictures. All this time I thought ZZ was the female lead in Legend of Fu Yao but it's Yang Mi. I actually started watching ZZ's dramas because I thought she was the female lead in Legend of Fu Yao, and I then fell in love with her in other dramas that she played in, specifically, The Story of Ming Lan, and Princess Agents. Welp, now I know!
I thought Zanilia Zhao and Yang Mi were the same person. It's only until recently that I discovered that these actresses are not the same people. https://kisskh.at/people/2321-zhao-zanilia
Hello, If you look above the comment area, you will see a search bar that says "Is something missing on this list?" Please add those 3 dramas there. =)
Mr. Queen is my favorite K-drama. BTW, I started watching K-dramas in 2020(Dec) too!
BTW, I love Shin Hye-sun, she is such a good actress. Her nickname in Korea is "high ratings," because all of her dramas score extremely high ratings on network tv.
I would like to add black as my first but i cant 😔I think something is not working
Above the comment area, you should see "Is something missing on this list?" Type in the name of the drama, and it should appear.
Afterwards, on the right side of the screen (where it says, My votes Rank the shows you're voting for and add new ones), you'll see the 3 dramas that you voted for and be able to arrange them in order by typing in the numbers 1, 2, 3. I hope that this helps. =)
...I have to admit this is my favourite drama so far this year lol, although I am very biased. It is very unconventional,…
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this..
How The Untamed is to most people, Mr. Queen is the same away to me. I actually cannot read any negative reviews about Mr. Queen lol. So, when you finally watch it, and review it with your honest opinion, I will have one eye open and one eye closed as I read your review lol.

I totally agree with your review. What I love about this drama is the cliches. In a very subtle way, this drama addresses misogyny, and if you aren't paying attention, you'll totally miss it. I loved the scenes from the academy of male virtuousness. The crazy thing about it, is during that era women had to take those classes lol.
Is it just me, or does Zhang Ruoyunin look a tad bit different? Did he get smaller? I was so happy when I saw him in the beginning of this drama, but I was a bit disappointed that he wasn't the male lead lol. However, the male lead does look like him but younger and with more of a rounded face.
Chinese actresses age well, which when it comes to acting (only acting), it can be a good thing, but it also have its cons. She def. doesn't look 31, but because she looks 21,it can prevent her from getting more serious roles.
My opinion is totally bias because I love Mr. Queen. I think everything was perfect. The music was phenomenal. There were no loopholes in the script, the actors did extremely well, and there was a good mixture of politics, and romance. Additionally, there we no toxic lead characters. I actually loved the ending. Most people love happy endings, in which everyone wins but I find that, that can actually take away the art of storytelling.
Btw, I haven't yet watched a historical drama that didn't encompass politics at least 50%. Note, there is a difference between period dramas which tend to focus on romance, and historical dramas which tend to focus on the history of that specific era; always political/monarchical. Mr. Queen is recapping history, using a creative license to review the Joseon era.
OMG! Which episode did the characters do blackface in? I still have like 4 more episodes remaining. I did like the beginning and the beginning of the middle of this drama but I lost interest towards the end. If I would have seen the blackface, I would have dropped the show ASAP.

So, this was my first time watching a gaming drama and I actually really liked the concept. Since I like Chinese…
I hadn't watched the ending yet of Good Bye My Princess. Thus far, I believe it had the potential to be a 10, but I don't think I'll change my current rating of the drama because it's missing key elements in the storyline.
