ML used FL relationship to have personal gain and that to me is betrayal. Like you said if ML is only using FL as his employee. Then ML should have been up front with her and see if she is willing participate. Here in the US using anyone for any gains in a corporation is on the ground for termination. So not sure why you would say just because FL is an employee of ML automatically entitled him to use her.

another Yang Zi hater, I am glad you dropped it. This show deserves someone with taste and culture appreciation, which you have neither.

one person validating you doesn't mean either one of you are correct. YZM betrayed her and stated her feeling don't matter and yet all you got from that conversation, is MCH is using grandma to blame him. If that is the truth, then YZM deserve it because he did used her. I don't see you place blame on the male and instead placing blame on the female.

bringing up grandma into a conversation doesn't mean she is using her to blame YZM. She thought they have something in common and both wants to take care of grandma. She trusted him and yet he betrayed her.

People are very inpatient. They want the ML and FL to fall madly in love with each other with no third party in the first 10 minutes of the 1st episode. They also want perfect parents, friends, colleagues etc. They want a perfect unrealistic life where everything is just perfect. People needs to grow up and realize there is no such thing as perfection.

I am sad all these bad things are happening to MCH. However, everything she went through is part of life and growth, which will make her a stronger person.

Are we watching the same show or you here to start trouble? I think you need to rewatch the episodes and ensure you understand it before coming back and make a post.

After episode 8, I want to say to something mean and rude about the mother. But I won't. I will wait patiently until MCH work up the courage to do it herself.

If you like family theme and personal growth, this show is for you. If you are looking for something more exciting, this is not for you. You should judge for yourself.

if it is some cheap ass drama the rating would be a lot higher since there won't be any haters.

That was why in Xu Kai's interview, he said MCH opened him up to the other side of the world. I can't wait for this to happen and love, love this drama so much. It is not just a family drama. I also love the character Xu Kai is acting, this is not the typical role I see him in. This is so refreshing.

Sorry if I misunderstood your comment up front. What announcement gave you a conclusion that the drama is different? I think everything that was announced and the summary in MDL explains that very well. This is a female centric family drama about the FL’s road to self discovery. As far as I see up to episode 6, that is where the plot is setting towards. She can’t have self discovery in episode one.

The plot is getting better and better. Mai Cheng Huan is so beautiful and classy. The way she controls herself during the dinner is amazing. Yang Zi's representation of this role is truly outstanding.

it was 8.5 this morning and then within hours it went down to 8.0. So many haters here.

Character development is not just for the FL. It is also for the ML and FL’s mother. So happy we will witness their development together.

Then you must drop every other dramas out there. Since majority of the plots are the same with some minor twists. I guess you really didn’t read the narrative very carefully. This is a family and self discovery drama and not a sci-fi with amazing CGI.
