I like HuaYong but for me, you can't really compare their lies just by the length of it. GaoTu may have lied longer but his lie didn’t hurt anyone except himself, his lie was ingrained into him since he was a child, something he had no choice at the beginning and kept up with, not just to be safe from his father and stay by WenLang's side but because of the financial benefits he gets which he needs to support his sister. HuaYong on the other hand schemed for a long time to lie about this whole thing, manipulating SSY emotionally and physically. He was changing SSY body and biology without his permission turning him into his exclusive omega and forcing him into heat. He's hurt SSY intentionally and as someone below said he wasn't remorseful about it, it kinda felt like he only knows he's wrong but doesn't really feel bad about what he did and felt justified, all to get SSY in the end. A lie is a lie yes, GT may have lied longer but the damage HY has done in his one year of lies far outweighs that of GT’s 10yrs.

To be honest i wasn't a big fan of HY at first too, seeing everything he's doing but i realized i wasn’t gonna enjoy this if i don't accept that HY isn’t the typical good main character. I can like him but still acknowledge that he’s a problematic character and not justify his lies and schemes. In the real world theres no way in hell SSY would've forgiven and accepted HY after everything he's done but alas this is a drama and he's the main character so ofcourse he'll get his happy ending and it didn't hurt that he's handsome and strongest and the richest LOL

Its so weird that you always mention LPE like that everytime you talk about the live or fanservice, almost everytime you end it with a comment like that. I mean i get that you like the main CP’s dynamic and i love that they’re really comfortable too but not everyone is an extrovert and some just doesn’t have the social battery, he’s obviously having fun especially the last live. I didn’t watch the complete live but from the clips i’ve seen he was definitely enjoying himself, not forced, atleast that how i interpret it 😅

I hope you can appreciate the main CP’s dynamic and friendship without having to drag down the other CP’s friendship, not everyone have that 8 yrs friendship to make them as comfortable like the main. Ocean is very extroverted and hyper in contrast to LPE’s introverted personality so they do have a different dynamic, you may not like it but you can’t keep assuming he’s “clearly forcing himself” 😅

I get what you mean. I like the main couple but i just can’t help but feel really REALLY bad for Sheng, he’s being manipulated not just physically but also emotionally and psychologically. If i remember/understood correctly, i think HY will make WL exchange the drug SY needs for his father for a “1 night with HY”. HY will literally torture him by making him choose between HY and his father 💀 the poor baby

P.S i didn’t read the novel but i saw this from some posts and the trailer, so not sure if its how its going to happen.

Such a manipulative red flag ML is making me torn, his whole dual personality is so interesting but you cant really help but feel bad for that one person who’s being played. I guess good thing he’s hot and rich and an enigma cos our boy will inevitably fall for him anyway 😂

From what i remember from the novel WL was super drunk out of his mind that he cant even remember who he slept with and GT was super in heat (i think because there were a lot of alpha pheromones during the banquet party they were attending) but not unconscious so its really a gray area, BOTH weren’t in the right state of mind.

Looks to me like both couples’ first time will feel problematic. Out of the 4 only HY is in the right frame of mind during this if i understood correctly. WL is super drunk and both SSY and GT are in heat, brain foggy but not unconscious and both seems to be responding. I’m not really sure how the whole “heat”thing works, i only remember reading somewhere that when the heat is strong their brain feels foggy (drunk like?) thats what i also observe during the show. Its really a gray area cos from the novel both WL and GT were not in their right mind (but GT wasn’t unconscious) , similar with the main couple, i read here that the main CP’s first time is a grape cos again only HY is in his right mind but it seems like the show will make it a little bit less problematic (i hope) 😅

Based on SWL and GT bts and that one Seekyli ig post i came upon, SWL wasn’t lying when he said that omega from that night slash GT isn’t like a normal timid omega but has broad shoulder and tiny waist 🤭👀

😂 i just accepted the fact that aside from this being a dark drama its also an omegaverse which apparently is full of toxicity and dark themes. In real life what HY is doing would be really unforgivable but this is not real life, its a world where male gets pregnant so i dont expect realism and normal anymore 😂

Its a bit disheartening to see the discord in the comment section. Although i love the second couple a little bit more and were disappointed with the lack of screentime in the last episode i still find the main couples’ story interesting and id be lying if i said its boring (maybe a bit repetitive). Both story are interesting in their own way (one is toxic, the other depressing lol) and have their own appeal.

I do feel really REALLY bad for SY being manipulated like this though, he’s so naively in love. He looked at HY like he’s a lucky charm when its the opposite 😅

I think i saw a clip of them mentioning this in one of their live, i think from the first few live not the recent ones. And im not familiar with MBTI but if i remember all three are Esomething except Pei En which is I and more of an introvert? They mentioned their MBTI and what they think their characters’ MBTI are.
