This might be controversial but I think this show is not meant for GMMtv audience.
Yeah, i kind of agree just looking at some comments most GMMTV viewers like light cute fluffy story instead of the more mature and heavy storyline and find it boring (some even skips it). This was always promoted as more an LGBTQ+ story and not the typical BL, so it is kind of sad seeing that but also expected since some viewers came from MSP which is a very fluffy BL.
Why is the rating for this show at 8.2? There must be some GMMTV bots doing the reviews. This and Vice-Versa should…
I haven’t watched this one yet but i have a theory that maybe some people who watched and rated the show you’ve mentioned with a high rating early on might have just dropped and forgotten about the show and forgot the change their rating 😂

I think we should wait until next week to see how that whole conversation in the preview will go instead of jumping the gun and calling Jim all kinds of names from a few second clip 😅 even on twt when Earth explains his pov as uncle jim, some people commenting seem to be forgetting he doesn’t write the script and is getting angry at him 🥲
Definitely not alone 🥹 Aside from people here might be too young or inexperienced i also think it didn’t help that they explored Jim’s character too late in the show. So instead of showing his backstory early on so we can atleast understand where he’s coming from, we got him doing all these things the first half and by the time the backstory came some viewers are already just too annoyed by his character to care.
His backstory was well made, imagine if it was shown early on and then the remaining episodes is him moving on and opening up to a new relationship and also growing as a guardian to liming Instead it feels like his own storyline was dragged and all he did in earlier episodes is react to things happening around him.

Agree. I’m not sure if this was the original route they were going for or the accident was written in last minute due to First’s injury that happened while filming.
Finally the JimWen centric episode i’ve been expecting and waiting for, it would’ve been nice if they didn’t drag it until the 6th episode but still great anyway. How Jim finally got the closure he needed and is slowly opening up to Wen, again would’ve been nice if this happened few episodes earlier so we can explore their relationship more instead. Excited and sad for next weeks last 2 episodes 🥹 also Khao’s acting was just 🙌🏻, he nailed that scene and my heart broke for Gaipa 🥺

I kind of agree, thats why i’m also not surprised why some people are more interested in the side cp’s story since their storyline have been much more fleshed out in recent episodes compared to the main cp which is very disheartening.
Even in this latest episode we barely see them interact, only a few minutes. Barely any insight on how Jim is feeling and reacting to the situations and instead there seems to be some days/weeks time jump even though P’aof mentioned (alot) that the focus of this is Jim. And yes, not attacking any actors or couple, just that it really feels like the show forgot who the main lead is.
Alan’s introduction was done so well, the vibe and sequence was 🙌🏻 First look so good, thats the face of a man ready to wreak havoc in the next episodes 🫣
Why does it seem like Jim's ex sucked the life and happiness out of him? like what happened that made him like that? I love how they slowly open up these character to us in a way that makes you want to know more about them but it doesn't feel too rushed. I want to know more about Jim and his ex's story, i want to know more about Wen and Alans story. I can't wait to see the story unfolds in the next few episodes.
Love love love EarthMix in this. Earth just bring a unique spark as Jim and i think we can all agree that Mix is a whole revelation in this. I mean we all know he was good in ATOTS but him and Earth are just delivering here. Gorgeous cinematography, lighting and music.
Wen's dad(stepdad?) being so supportive of him is such a breath of fresh air. Also Wen going out in the open with Jim for lunch, posting him on his socmed and even introducing him to his dad seem like a such a bold move for someone with a boyfriend. I really believe a breakup was initiated but Alan didn't approve so they're just living together haha but thats just me hoping. I can't wait for the next episodes, looks like messy JimWenAlan is coming soon and i'm here for it.
This whole cast is just on another level, everyone just engages you in every scene. I love this and can't wait for the next episode 😊

If we include the currently airing shows then Moonlight Chicken is currently first at #269 (8.6) and MSP is third at #371. But as you’ve said these are still airing and very likely to change or decrease as it goes on or once it finishes. I also didn’t include thai specials/ep because the ranking computation for those seems very different compared to normal length dramas 😊
And yes ATOTS did held the 8.6 ranking for the longest time until recently, and i think they were the only one who stayed at 8.6 that long among recent bl’s 😊

Not really, they're not connected except for the theme of main cast as people living their life at mignight. Aside from that theres no connections whatsoever so you can watch this one only 🥰
