I always assumed this was more to promote all their new pairings that hasn’t received the “special” treatment so basically all couples that debuted after the first OS1 in 2018. Excluding BW since they got a second season and a movie, all their main cps were featured in OS1 so its understandable that they would include all new couple in OS2 that debuted recently but after OS1.

With regards to choosing ATOTS for an EM special i also assumed they chose which was the most popular and unique storyline for each couple thats why its NLMG for PP instead of FUTS and ABAAB for FB instead of enchante.

This might also be for the upcoming LOL Fanfest 2, which again features all their new pairs after the first LOL with only the 4 pillars.

Ah right, that’s a better way of looking at it 😅 just a reminder though, that ATOTS was EarthMix’s first show together so if you’ve watched Moonlight Chicken and this before ATOTS you might be surprised by the lack of intimate scenes 😁 not that it takes away from how great the show is, it actually makes sense in the story for me. Anyway enjoy 😊

I would recommend ATOTS first since its unique and more of a slowburn feel good show with great storyline that doesn’t really only focus on the love story and minimal intimate scenes. This one is more of a road trip comedy drama that focuses on the main leads all through out, also with life lesson along the way. I loved this but ATOTS just hits you different with its gorgeous cinematography and music 😊

Agree, they’re both so great and sexy in here and it helps that they’re very comfortable with each other so it doesn’t feel awkward at all. No idea on Mix’s sexuality though 😅

Theres a deleted scene from the ONS on the first ep, first few takes they were kissing but after some takes Aof said they weren’t supposed to kiss at all 🤣 they got pranked 🥹

Just to add to the already great points given, i think the reason you think they’re not compatible is the reason i think they might actually work. We see during the show that they help give each other different perspective in things to understand situations better, in a very healthy and non forceful way. And if anything this show tries to convey, its realism. That not everything is a fairytale happily ever after, there will be struggles and problems along the way and its finding people that will help you through that that actually makes a relationship work longterm.

I know someone who’s been in the exact situation as AlanWen, been together for 7 years but both just lost that spark. And he’s now in a new relationship, we don’t know how long this one will last but he isn’t the same 20yr old person who went into that relationship 7 yrs ago. He matured, learned and wants different things now (he’s just in a different stage in his life now) which he sees together with his new partner.

Agree, i’m not Thai too and this was actually the first show i’ve seen this holiday celebrated. I only found out about it thru a friend who’s familiar with it. So apparently Loy Khratong means “floating basket” and you’re supposed to released it either in water or sky to signify to wish your problems and bad luck away and it symbolize new beginning too and good luck. It’s also celebrated on the firsf full moon of November 😊

I think Chartreuse explained it well enough. Just to give an example too, at the start of episode 3 Wen said he’s still doing the layout for the Loy Krathong, thats around when he found out about the renovation and confronted Jim about him being involved in the project. By the end of the ep he was already in the process of finishing up the Loy Krathong set up design when Liming saw and talked to him and Jim called him to ask about Liming and met up with him and his dad (which was their next interaction after the confrontation) 😊 i think its the small details and the set up design thats meant to give viewers an idea of the story’s timeline.

From what i understood the scenes and interactions between Jim and Wen happens few days or weeks after the other, the problem was this wasn't explicitly obvious unlike Heart Limings where we see its been weeks since Liming has already learned sign language. It then feels like Wen is being annoying but we have to remember those scenes happened in a span of a few months not days/week. I do understand though how some viewers will definitely feel that way because thats what we only (almost) see from the first half of the show. I do think EarthMix was really great in here just as everyone else is but i do agree their plot and how it was explored could have been handled better.

Haha love your analogy although just to give you some hope (in case you don’t know) that all 3 couple will be in the Our Sky 2 reprising their roles from ATOTS, MSP and The Eclipse. And update on the specials, The Eclipse already finished filming and ATOTS has started fixing up set (Kru Tian’s house). No update yet on MSP which isn’t surprising cos they just finished airing but GeminiFourth will be a side couple again in the GL 23.5 with MilkLove and i think they already started production too. So hopefully these show comes soon before your BL fat is used up 😄 FK also has the Only Friends show but no update on that one yet.

Another great episode 👏🏻 i love that they’re starting to tie up some loose ends this episode instead of cramming it all in the last episode.
Jim finally and slowly opening up not just to Wen but to other people as well is such a good thing to see. His interaction with Liming after the funeral was so cute, i was smiling through out. And his scene with Beams family pissed me so much, this shows why same sex marriage is an important thing for LGBTQ+ couples. Imagine building everything up together only for the family to take everything.

I like that they didn’t go the cliche route of having Wen take care of Alan like what people expected will happen just to add more drama. And can we also appreciate the fact that everyone was behaving maturely, no unnecessary jealous scenes. Everyone is very understanding of other characters situations. Khao as Gaipa was great here, he nailed everything in this episode and i just wanted to give him a hug. Wen always being the voice of reason really balances Jim out, he always give Jim a different perspective on things. Alan finally moving on, everything just feels well paced and not rushed or forced.

I guess i can say this episode everyone has character development, even Hearts parents. I can’t wait for the last episode but also really sad its ending so soon 🥹

Yes, Boss and Babe will start this friday replacing MSP. Midnight Museum will take over the monday and tuesday slot taking over the warp effect and NLMG timeslot. Back to GMMTV’s usual 2 days for non-BL shows on mon-tues and wed-thurs 😊

I don’t think there will be one. This is currently only airing exclusively in Disney+ hotstar in Thailand hence the unusual timeslot of 6pm instead of the usual 8:30pm in GMM25’s cable channel. This isn’t occupying any of their time slot.
