Now, just imagine a drama with a ML with such an ambiguous relationship with a SFL, giving them a whole lot of…
I'm on episode 25 and I don't see any cheating, only the progress of developing feelings and emotions for each other with the ML. I feel sorry for the 2ML as he also loves her. It's a normal occurrence in this world.
I thought the romance and their chemistry improved as the show progressed, but I don't feel like I ever saw the…
Aye, you got a point. Whilst the leads chemistry didn't do it for me, their devotion to each other was admirable though. Character wise she grew on me more as the show went on. I can't wait for season 2. It now makes sense why the wee dragon was so protective of him. π
Great show. Interesting ending, but also makes sense. Guess there will be more to come. This was one drama that got more interesting with every episode. Never got boring. I liked the family dynamic and banter, but also the camaraderie amongst the Gongs. I wasn't particularly keen on the romance between the main leads. I didn't think there was chemistry, but luckily their relationship was not the centre of the drama. I enjoyed to see him grow into the man he has become, but never losing sight of what was important. I really admired Dylan's acting performance in episode 40 when he showed true emotions when shedding tears. π
I started watching on WeTv. First episode was ok. Not overwhelming, but ok. Will aim to keep watching. The actors appear to be fine, but some of the scene cut overs are a bit strange (eg. Horses and riders suddenly turning up to find her - without context).
Itβs seem that Dylan is not good at mandarin. I guess foreigners canβt tell since we donβt speak Chinese…
I would think his international fanbase won't notice the difference (much). Yeah Dylan is from Sichuan, and every province has it's dialect. It's such a shame some people are so intolerant! He is a good actor and this is what should be important
When does the romance start? Is the romance part good?
It's less about the romance. Their initial meeting was the funny first part of the drama with a few deliberate misunderstandings. Lol. Personally I don't think the leads match well (I prefer the grand princess), but overall it's ok, because this romance is kept to a minimum.
