I just watched evolution of Love and he definitely could show his emotional side there. The subtitles on YouTube were crap, but I still watched it. His kiss scene was really good. Who knew ! π€£
Slow start , but when it gets going it's thrilling. Most of it plays in the dessert. The ML and FL got such an amazing couples dynamic. One can only be lucky to have such a strong connection. They really can show their love and appreciation for each other. NiNi totally rocks with her Lara Croft vibes π All the actors were great and you can see them growing. Very recommendable watch.
"light-hearted beginning"?!!!!!!!!!!!!!I didn't have time to check the other comments but this sounds ridiculous.…
Yes you are correct. I said light-hearted beginning which is meant to be 1-2 episodes. Since then the drama developed as you said, what makes it interesting. I never called the season light hearted. These are your own words. π
I can read a lot of different opinions about this show. Here is mine π
I understand when people say they are disappointed on how aloof and light hearted the first few episodes are, especially when one had re-watched series 1 recently with a dramatic and action packed ending. The same happened to me. But then, I realised, I needed to be patient and start off again with a clear mind and just enjoy the humour and light hearted beginning. I love all the actors and their performances. One might think, they didn't age at all. The ML has lost a bit of weight, and some of the actors were replaced. This needed to get used to at first, but now it's ok. They are also growing on me. I can't get enough of one episode. Time flies and 45min are too short π. Whilst the second series is slightly different to the first, it does not disappoint. I would think that it's necessary for FanX to survive the battles at court and in order to do so, it's the perfect battlefield for him to use his wits and cleverness for survival. If he is really a prince, he needs to learn what is going on at court. Life has various stages and he needs to battle it out, be it on his travels or at home at court. I sometimes wonder if the emperor actually knows who he is? I love the interactions between FX and the second prince. They both already behave like brothers haha. I'm also sure that there is a different person to be found in the crown prince. The couples dynamics are getting interesting. There are so many different plots and intrigues, one has to stay alert. I like it that FX stays on top of it (so far). I haven't read the novel, but would have guessed that FX is being prepared for a bigger role in life and needs to learn to survive π
I really enjoyed watching this show until the end. Yes, it's not perfect and some scenes might be missing, but overall it was a good drama to watch. Liked the storyline, the main leads and their initial quarrel turning into love and the supporting couples being so cute and so supportive. Everyone of them is growing up in their own rights, especially the development of the crown prince and his maturing relationship with his tutor π. Recommendable to watch.
I enjoyed the drama very much. I watched all 39 episodes. There was no character out of place and everyone played their roles well. The love story between the main leads feels real, although some of the passion feels lacking. Their love feels innocent and foremost a secret one. The goddess and her brother were certainly entertaining the audience. Her holiness is also one of my preferred actresses. It's definitely a recommended drama.
