it gets worse. The plot holes will leave you just scratching your head.

What a snooze fest this series is....its honestly mind numbingly boring at times. I have never had to fast forward through an ep as much and as frequent as with this series.

the ppl that read the novel are here to show off that
1. they are hard core fans of the story and they did research before watching the series unlike everyone else
2. that they know much more and better about every aspect of the show than any plebeian whose out there making comments.
3 they can correct anyone about anything regarding the show cause they have read the novel

Finally finished the series and I have to ask; what are so many ppl raving over this series for? No offense, ( and I know some of those hard core fans and gonna come after me with " if you didnt like it, why watch it") but the story was so all over the place. It had a good concept, and I like YinWar, but it was just a bit of everything blended together and not in a good way. The final few eps felt so dragged out. Lets not even start with the "magic" ring...just cause he got the ring Boss become almighty? Yea, yea, its symbolic, whatever. It still doesnt make sense. And who just leaves an all important ring lying out in the open display thing cabinet where the password is shown to anyone?! Anyone who wanted the ring has a 1 in 5 chance of getting the right code and stealing the ring. The owner could afford ot build that whole room just for the ring but not make a lock or safe? Why didnt the original owner wear it all the time like Boss did?
And could they have at least spent a bit more money on props? The tattoos on Joke were a joke!! you could see the plastic coating reflecting the light. I think in ep 10, when Joke was half naked you could clearly see the rectangular shape the tattoo was cut out from. And the all powerful ring looked like something kids get out of those cheap toy vending machines.
This series had so much potential, but they got over ambitious and put too much on their plates. It was like "hey, why dont we each choose 1 movie or show we like, then we blend all the various concpets from those shows into 1 series" There SO many plot holes throughout the series; from Jokes great legendary heists, to the whole "magic" ring, and the stupid heaven's ladder game Jack played. IF they had stayed to the original plot it would have been a good show, but in the end they made the audience focus on too much.

just out of curiousity: IF its wrong/bad to rate a show low just after 1 ep, then why is it good/ok to rate it high just after 1 ep?
I mean the show could go either way after a few more eps. And I get some ppl love these actors, while other might feel differently, but still. I dont see the difference in the 2 actions. Just cause you love the actors, and you give the show 10, how does it help the show? Is blindly giving a show high scores the right way to go? So you give it 10 now, but what if the show sucks majorly later on? Is the 10 pts you rate it still justified? Does it show you are a true fan? Same in reverse, does giving the show low rating change anything? The show is already recorded. It wont change the outcome lol.

Gmmtv goofed up and cast him/them as leads right off the bat. But they cant go back and downgrade them back after having spent so much money promoting the pair.
Also, cause they are a fixed pair. Even if one is better than the other they can't give Joong another partner or separate them for BLs without causing an uproar

But going to an intl school doesnt explain why he squints and bobs his head when delivering lines. Phuwin also went to an intl school. He dosnt have problems delivering his lines.
Its true he may have potential, but GMMTV should recognize he isnt lead material yet. They should cast him a side or support characters

lol. at least Im sure nearly everyone here doesnt talk like they were reading from a book with no fluctuations in tone, and bob our heads while doing it. Unless ofcourse you do these too when you talk then you can tell others to shut the hell up

Is it just me or is the flow kinda choppy? I mean the editing seems weird at times. Is this only on the youtube version or its the same on other platforms too? The story seems to jumping or skipping parts at time. Like in ep 1. Sun is suddelny talking with Jodd about Junior joining the swim team. They mention something about Sun giving up his spot. But there was no previous mention or context about it.

The trailer looked good, but its a bit worry some to think that 5 newbie actors will be the main cast. That could injure the show

GMMTV really needs to either get him more acting lessons/workshops. or they need to stop giving him lead roles. Let him gain some more experience and develop his skills more as guest roles or a side character.

See, thats the same I had previously said about Dunk's "improvements". He does ok when he is solo or in neutral scenarios. But when he has to be close to his partners (Joong, or the girls from Summer Night) he does those eyebrow squints, and head bobbing. Whenever he needs to be intimate and/or convey being flirty he does that. It's like those are his courtship moves that some animals have. As for the line reading...I doubt that can be salvaged.

I think many that are swooning over his "sexiness" are the young school girl type fans. Cause hes tall and slender. like those anime/manga character. Not sure how the gay crowd feels about him. Maybe cause hes an "ideal" btm?

lol. its like many restaurants that get praises for their food. Although only average, the presentation wins over the diners initial impression because many ppl eat with their eyes first.

You cant expect everyone to turn a blind eye, and aimlessly support someone for something they arent that good at. He isnt a little child. If ppl dont let him know that he is not as good as his costars the how will he ever know needs to improve? Hes not a newbie. And im sure GMMTV has noticed he need improvement.

Lol he is doing ok (so far) But I wouldnt dare to say he is "very good" actor. Maybe you like him cause he is aesthetically pleasant for you. Many young fan girls like him for that reason alone. Lets see how he continues to do before calling him a "good" actor
