Look, IDK what you guys thought this series was but I doubt many of you are getting it right, especially if you…
Look, im not trying to pick apart the show, but the impression it gave me is of the impressions I mentioned in my post. And as I said, its not a bad show, but its not worth 8/8 in my opinion. Just as some ppl prefer beef over chicken. But you have to admit, the plot of Joke being a master thief and his heists do strongly resemble the concept used in in Catch me if you can and Oceans 11. But some ppl just cant accept others opinion about the show if it doesnt coincide with theirs

ep1 and 2 were solid. but 3 and 4 are going down the goofy route and im not sure if i like that. i enjoyed all…
The comedy is ruining the show. Its like a cheap Jackie Chan movie crossing over with Catch Me If You Can. This show had potential, but its like they cast every available and well known actor in the company and made this show

Lol. Your time is so "precious" that you come here, comment on other ppls opinion because they dont align with yours? Let's say I liked a show but you didnt, then it would be harsh of you to comment? And btw, there is honestly nothing fresh about this series. Its a blatant ripoff from Catch Me If You Can and Ocean's 11. They even use the same ideas for the heists. Lol

calm down gurl! this is no Hollywood.. the series is a lot better for bl industry, the main actors did amazing…
Lol. When you watch a show you have expectations. And when the show fails short of your expecations then it becomes a disappointment.

I never said ALL. I said about 75%. Also, did you include the scenes were Jess and Nulek portrayed over the top gays and acted all flirty, the fart scenes, and the getting electrocuted scenes? Those werent mediocre?

J&J isnt a bad show, but I dont think its an 8.8

I was so looking forward to this show when it was announced since Im a YinWar fan.
The first ep was ok (the major plot holes aside)
then when ep 2 the plot holes become worse and the slapstick comedy started to appear.
Ep 3 and 4 were rather poor eps. It felt like watching a poor man's version of Catch Me If You Can x Ocean's 11 x any Jackie Chan movie. SO many plot holes, and the so called comedy is just too over the top. One minute the show tries to be serious or dark, then the next scene they throw in some over the top comedic scene which kills the whole tone of the previous scene. Are we really to believe Joke is a "master thief"?? He barely escaped each heist, has nearly been recognized by ppl at the scene, and all he does is change his hair style?
This is a disappointment for me personally. The only time there is good acting is when Yin and War interact with each other. All the other scenes with the other actors seem so mediocre, and they consist of 75% of each ep.
I personally dont see this show as an 8.8. Its not terrible, but really not an 8.8

this webpage also show how western fans are also (the same level of) delusional as chinese and indonesian delulus…
Lol are you stupid? There are vids on YouTube and IG and weibo of those fanmeets. You can actually see those fans pull out the masks and holding them infront of their faces as they are taking pics with Ohm and nanon. Lol. They were holding large cut out of the actors, like Halloween masks. You can see the ppl who were doing this on stage were all asians. The Chinese fan group even admitted they did this. That's how we all know they did it. The Chinese fan group openly admitted and told ppl they did all these things and posts about damaging Ohms car and killing his dogs. Gmmtv had to send out a statement to these fans, and after GMMTV officially anounced they ended the Ohmnaon ship the fan group then sent out another bus to GMMTV with banners apologizing. Lol.

lol. Are you trying to say the olympics competition had slower movements? haha. You do know that in movies/shows they speed up action sequences to make it more intense right? Are did you think they move slower in the olympics during real life matches? Or was it that action sequences in movies/tv are in reality always that fast?

Its a Thai thing sponge bathing sick ppl in bed. Its a cultural practise. Its so the sick ppl dont have to move,…
I think you might be expecting a bit much from a lite series like this. This is basically a romcom, I doubt they will delve into that much character build up. And this is Thai series afterall. Its their style. Just as most western, korean, japanese series have their particular style. Not sure, but maybe its just not what you are used to watching. I mean, if it irks you this way still after ep 4, maybe you should drop it

Ppl are starting to comment on Leng's acting, but bare in mind this is his debut series as a lead, and I normally am rather picky about newbie leads and their acting, but I think he's doing rather well. He's not great, but dont forget who he's acting against/with. He's keeping up with Ohm, so thats rather good.
There are GMM newbies who do/did worse and were leads, but ppl praised them. Some still dont do great after having debuted for yrs, but ppl still praise their work and performance

guys sponge bath in bed ??? fuckkkk gmm screen writers. please even some fucking interns can do a better job.…
Its a Thai thing sponge bathing sick ppl in bed. Its a cultural practise. Its so the sick ppl dont have to move, and not to alter their body temperature too much. Plus not all thai households have showers/baths. They do it in many shows, not just GMM shows.
Like in Japanese shows you see ppl go to the public baths together. Its all cultural. Has nothing to do with screen writing.
Unless it bothers you cause you wont be able to see more nakedness of an actor.

The only fight that i had problem with was yin and victor's fight. Supposedly, yin's character (jack) was a taekwondo…
the fight in ep 1 was bad but what bothered me more was in ep 2 when Jack and Joker met again. That fight in the open area was really bad, then when Jack was grabbing Joker's neck...that was it for me. You can see Jack was barely even using any strength in holding that posture, his hands were so limp.

I'm not an expert in karate or Kung Fu but I thought the fights were pretty decent, I don't know if it was Yin…
Just to correct some of your comment's info;
They do taekwondo, which is korean. and they mentioned it many times in ep 1. Not Kung fu (which is chinese) and not karate (which is japanese)
And the guy you were trying to mention is Jacky Chan.

I mean it was clear that Joker had a past in episode 1. he was notorious and on the news for various robberies…
Im not disliking the show, but Im just the type of person where small details easily catch my attention. And these small details bother me and my experience when I watch shows/movies. Like in We Are, the constant change in hair styles due to the editing drove me crazy. So stuff like the plot holes I mentioned are annoying.
So, just to comment on your comment, and not to start an argument,
-Yes Joker is notorious but how notorious can a 17yr old conman be? His so called scam of Boss was just using a fake ID. His actions dont exactly show how great the show is making this "legendary thief" is. And lets assume he is really sneaky, what he is doing wouldnt warrant him to be mentioned on the news. And we never saw Joker turn himself in. The cops came and he admitted/surrendered. He could have been caught and didnt deny the charges or couldnt. Its not like he went to the police and turned himself in.
-And the knowing-where-Jack-is plot has a bigger hole. Joker came from a rather well off family. Jack in an lower middle one. Where they met in ep 2 is what western countries would consider a slum. (They are in an asian style slum that used to be almost everywhere in the 70's. It's designed like a small community within a building where you have shops, businesses, residential areas all within that compound. Think of it as a village but in one single large building) So it wont be either of their old neighborhood. Even the taxi driver was hesitant to drive Joker there. And Jack is a common name, even by Thai standard. He was able to locate a specific Jack, whom he only briefly met twice? Not knowing his last name or what happened to him after Joker turned himself in? He just asked around for a Jack and could find him?
I dont need a show to make 100% sense, but when the plot is a rather essential one, then I feel it should be better written out. They could have easily added a small cut scene of Joker asking or searching for Jack's where abouts after Joker got out of prison. But like you said, the plot holes arent that big (yet). But they will add up and if there are constant small plot holes then in the end the series will look like a piece of swiss cheese lol.

You need to seriously get off your case about not liking Kidnap. You dont like that show, ok, stop watching it. You dont need to watch each ep then continuously go around bashing it. Your schtick is getting old and boring. You are a writer so you can do better, blah blah blah.....good for you. You think thai BLs are so sub par then stop watching them in general. You can just go watch some asian porn to get your fix of asian boys.

Hi! ❤I think sometimes it’s better to not dig too deep into realism, especially with characters like this…
I agree with Jack having his hopes taken away from him, but I personally would think his innocence was also taken. He was a positive boy with hopes and dreams. Believing if he worked hard everything would turn out ok. But that once incident proved him wrong. And it showed him how harsh the world is. He isnt so mad at Joker, rather he is mad that he was shown the reality of how life is for those that dont have money, like Carbon who could get anything cause he was rich.
