I'm not an expert in karate or Kung Fu but I thought the fights were pretty decent, I don't know if it was Yin…
Just to correct some of your comment's info; They do taekwondo, which is korean. and they mentioned it many times in ep 1. Not Kung fu (which is chinese) and not karate (which is japanese) And the guy you were trying to mention is Jacky Chan.
I mean it was clear that Joker had a past in episode 1. he was notorious and on the news for various robberies…
Im not disliking the show, but Im just the type of person where small details easily catch my attention. And these small details bother me and my experience when I watch shows/movies. Like in We Are, the constant change in hair styles due to the editing drove me crazy. So stuff like the plot holes I mentioned are annoying. So, just to comment on your comment, and not to start an argument, -Yes Joker is notorious but how notorious can a 17yr old conman be? His so called scam of Boss was just using a fake ID. His actions dont exactly show how great the show is making this "legendary thief" is. And lets assume he is really sneaky, what he is doing wouldnt warrant him to be mentioned on the news. And we never saw Joker turn himself in. The cops came and he admitted/surrendered. He could have been caught and didnt deny the charges or couldnt. Its not like he went to the police and turned himself in. -And the knowing-where-Jack-is plot has a bigger hole. Joker came from a rather well off family. Jack in an lower middle one. Where they met in ep 2 is what western countries would consider a slum. (They are in an asian style slum that used to be almost everywhere in the 70's. It's designed like a small community within a building where you have shops, businesses, residential areas all within that compound. Think of it as a village but in one single large building) So it wont be either of their old neighborhood. Even the taxi driver was hesitant to drive Joker there. And Jack is a common name, even by Thai standard. He was able to locate a specific Jack, whom he only briefly met twice? Not knowing his last name or what happened to him after Joker turned himself in? He just asked around for a Jack and could find him? I dont need a show to make 100% sense, but when the plot is a rather essential one, then I feel it should be better written out. They could have easily added a small cut scene of Joker asking or searching for Jack's where abouts after Joker got out of prison. But like you said, the plot holes arent that big (yet). But they will add up and if there are constant small plot holes then in the end the series will look like a piece of swiss cheese lol.
The writing is as horrible as in Kidnap. I have no idea why they don't think more about the story. You pointed…
You need to seriously get off your case about not liking Kidnap. You dont like that show, ok, stop watching it. You dont need to watch each ep then continuously go around bashing it. Your schtick is getting old and boring. You are a writer so you can do better, blah blah blah.....good for you. You think thai BLs are so sub par then stop watching them in general. You can just go watch some asian porn to get your fix of asian boys.
Hi! ❤I think sometimes it’s better to not dig too deep into realism, especially with characters like this…
I agree with Jack having his hopes taken away from him, but I personally would think his innocence was also taken. He was a positive boy with hopes and dreams. Believing if he worked hard everything would turn out ok. But that once incident proved him wrong. And it showed him how harsh the world is. He isnt so mad at Joker, rather he is mad that he was shown the reality of how life is for those that dont have money, like Carbon who could get anything cause he was rich.
I felt ep 2 wasnt as strong or good as ep 1. -ppl usually complain about those loud bgms in other series, but no one else is finding those sudden bursts of bgm whenever they try to do a tense or action moment annoying? Like when Yin and War were fighting, they tried to make it suspenseful and intense with those horrible bgm bursting suddenly -those fight scenes are bad, like you can tell Yin is barely using any strength when he's punching or holding War's neck. You can tell cause the posture and the way he holding his fist/hands. There is no tension in the muscles in his hands and finger. -And War's release from prison until he finds Jack, that whole sequence didnt make sense. How was Joker able to locate Jack after 5 yrs of no contact? No one would have been able to inform him of where Jack was. There must be thousands of Jacks, even if he asked around he wouldnt be able to find that specific person without even knowing a last name. Thailand is huge. And he knew where Jack was but didnt know he was now a debt collector? Which leads to how Joker had money to get the disguises, and rent that apartment suddenly. He was in prison and there is no way he had money or disguises on hand. -They keep bringing up how Joker is this great thief. Yet he hasnt been able to to steal or scam anyone till now except for stealing that exam in ep 1 and that boys wallet. I mean, he was a thief when he was in grade 12, then went to prison for 5 yrs. How great of a legendary thief can he be? In ep 1 they mentioned he stole from a noodle shop, which was front for illegal activities. But that is just pickpocketing or petty theft at best. Nothing grand As someone below mentioned; there are so unnecessary scenes and the story seems to be dragged to reach the 1 hour mark, And the small plot holes are slowly building up. In ep 1 you could sort of ignore it, but now its slowly affecting the story.
why would you post this on one of the most toxic and fired up discussion page? Isnt this just adding fuel to the fire? So not the time and place to ask ppl to vote for this topic
Bomb review: to put a lot of bad reviews of (= reports giving an opinion about) a book, computer game, film, etc.…
I think those ppl believe if they are able to drop the rating to 6 or 5, Ohmnanon ship will reoccure, Jesus will walk the earth again, and we will also see our first alien encounter. Hahaha
Good start. Enjoyed it. Only parts that didnt make sense for me were : -when Joker was taking the math class and stole that boys test sheet.(If that class was for gifted kids how could that boy not suspect the person next to him, who just disappeared, of stealing his sheet but instead blame the boy sitting infront? A gifted kid couldnt figure out the guy next to him and his sheets dissapeared at the same time?) -The part with the thugs chasing Rose. If those thugs were after her why would they still waste time dealing with Joker's bs and stalling? They would have just jumped him or beat him up. -And the part where Joker was able to get into the bank manager's office and crack open a safe without needing to use any tools. How did he know the safe's code? How is he able to know where the office was, walk into it, figure out the code, and return to Jack within 10 minutes? The bank must be pretty shitty if they dont even have proper security for a office with that much cash in it and leave it unsupervised The rest of the episode was good.
I don't think so Ohmnanon fans are doing these ugly things...😑 Don't forget there are so many other shippers…
Did you see the posts the Chinese Ohmnanon fans posted ? They even threatened to smash Ohms car and kill his dogs. They Ohmnanon fans are doing alot to hurt this series
Funny thing for me is, these ppl say they are OhmNanon fans, yet they only seem to spread their hate towards Ohm. So how can they say they are fans of both actors?
