I've never been in Korea, but I know cities of type you described, both small and big, but I have never seen piggyback custom, only in dramas from east Asia :)

I like the cast, but this drama is BORING!
I m not into this drama because like you said it has elements of lot s of other dramas, And I personally I m not excited to wait for the new episode. It s not bad but just OK. It s better to watched it like a marathon later. Then it could be more interesting when your focus is only on one drama.
