I don't have any problem with fantasy elements. On the contrary, fantasy is one of my favorite genres to watch. It's the historical setting that I can't get into. So far I've only seen one historical show (kdrama) and while I did enjoy that, I think it was because it didn't feel like a sageuk and because of the lead guy.
But thank you guys, you have convinced me to give this a chance. I'll definitely give this a try!

I was just scrolling down the page and I've got to say, I'm surprised by the lack of any negative comments. Even popular shows like 'Goblin' had plenty of negative comments. Was this drama that good? Did actually no one didn't like this drama?
I'm not fond of ancient/historical setting dramas, so I'm not sure whether to watch it or not. But all these comments are really making me wonder if I'm missing out...

I loved him in LOTBS. even if he was an antagonist, it was really hard to hate his character, and I don't think I ever did.

And yes, they are dating. Rumors about their relationship had been going around for a while and apparently they announced that they are in-fact, dating ♥️️♥️️♥️️

This was my first FSF drama. So maybe, it's because I have nothing to compare it with, but I did think he did a good job. The character he was supposed to play, the serious and quiet type- I think he was good at it. Then again, I'm a not a very good judge of acting- unless they seem to do a horrendous job. Like I said, I did think Bea Hayden was awkward, specially in crying scenes.
Totally forgot about the OST, thanks for reminding me! I'll include that. I've got that song on my profile, I loved it!
