I'd say you should give this one a try. I think most of the negative comments are because a lot of people (including me) got SLS. Atleast, that's the reason I ended up dropping it. But the suspense and mystery was really good (atleast up until the episode I watched).

Although to me, it felt more like, their relationship was going to face a lot of troubles later-on, due to their status differences, so to give the viewers a sense of 'happily-ever-after' they showed that 'don't worry, he's rich too'
But that's just my interpretation..
