I liked this version, it was cute overall and dark where it needed to be dark. Yes, it had its cringe moments, but they didn't ruin the experience for me. Arashi and Rei were SO GREAT, they were the best in the show and their portrayal seemed very true to their characters. One complaint of mine is that Fuma needed more confidence and a more realistic approach in order to be faithful to the original character. But again I tried not to let details ruin the experience for me, because I have fond memories from the thai version and I didn't want to feel bitter about the changes. Overall, I had fun watching this series!
To me this story has nothing in common with our real life and that's great. It's pure fantasy and a good way to…
I agree with you, this show (and many others) is presenting a story in a dreamy and cheesy world, and most of the things happening aren't at all realistic. Of course Johan's behaviour is problematic, but in this show it's presented with a dreamy filter, so let's just enjoy the show, while keeping in mind that in real life things would turn out very different.
Only 4 more episodes to go and we have seen very little of the other 2 couples. So it’ll be a rush ending for…
I think it will be a second season with the other two couples. I predict they will give us something like a teaser in the last episode of this season, so we anticipate the second season. I can't wait!
So far I'm really enjoying this series. I must admit that some parts of the story were presented better in the thai version, however that doesn't mean that this version is lacking. In fact I'm pleasantly surprised by the different approach to the story. Also, what's funny is that personally in the thai version my favorite couple was prapai and sky but in this version it's arashi and rei. Everyone is cute, though :)
I actually enjoyed episode 8, after so many episodes where I had to skip some scenes I disliked. I think it's because this episode was entirely about Johan and North, but... I'm afraid the next episode will include several scenes with Hill and Ter. You know what, I think I like watching Hill and Ter separately, for example Hill with his friend group and Ter with North. But together as a couple? Unfortunately no... Of course, this is just my opinion, not a fact.
Great casting on Pond, the greatest! What a dreamy guy, but I'm kinda disappointed that he's paired with such a childish character. Ter's behavior and appearance is so childish, that it prevents me from getting emotionally invested in the first ship, which is a shame, because Hill is the most charming guy ever. Can't wait for the next ships.
I liked the first episode, it was very interesting and it describes the main characters' personalities very nicely. Also both ohm and leng are sooo good-looking, I'm sure it will be fun to watch this series. Ignore this weird rating, it has nothing to do with the quality of this series.
very disappointing, because I actually liked the start of this series, but the rest of it kept testing my patience. congrats on the second couple for giving me a reason to complete this series
At first I really liked this series, but I can't say the same now. The script is unbearable, but I tried to be patient because of Sam and yo, but even their ship's development seems patched up, like the work of an amateur. I waited so many episodes for them to confess and become official, but now that it happened it feels not at all like a natural course of their relationship, I mean it just falls FLAT, WHERE IS THE SPARK OF THE FIRST EPISODES? I simply expected a climax in the confession scene, because in the previous episodes we saw some obstacles that made their relationship difficult to become official, and oh I don't know, maybe the confession scene and everything that followed should have SHOWED that they struggled to express their feelings because of those obstacles and that now they are rightfully overjoyed that they made it through? It all seems so rushed and meaningless. This show is too silly for me to get worked up about a simple cute ship, but here I am! I blame the bad writing, to be honest.
There are many positives in this show, like how handsome the actors are, the clothes and makeup, and also all these beautiful locations, BUT more often than not I cannot help myself but cringe with the writing. How can everything in this show seem so expensive except the script, which seems like it was written by a child? I love everything about this series, but seriously the script is making me enjoy it less and less in every episode. For the sake of all those cute ships, especially sam and yo, I will keep watching it till the end.
So I got sick and couldn't watch the finale when it aired, and I was soooo looking forward to feeling a little better in order to watch the last episode. Now that I finally watched it, all I can say is PERFECTION! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't change a thing, I am extremely pleased with the acting, especially from the two main characters. Everything was so romantic, I could feel the romance through the screen, in Pisaeng's eyes, in every smile, this is exactly what I love in a show! Great series, even greater OST! This show is totally one of my favorites!
LISTEN.... y'all had all of SEASON 1 to develop character.... ain't no way yall taking ALL of SEASON 2 to still…
I totally agree with you, I wish they showed us something different in season 2, not the same old problems. Maybe if I were more emotionally invested in the story, I would be mad at the weird pace it's going, but now I'm just trying to enjoy anything I can, like the aesthetics, the side characters and the whole production in general.
If you're going to butcher a side ship like this, don't bother putting it in the show. It pains me to say this, because I honestly love this series from the first episode and I was looking forward to its release even before it started. This episode seemed so patched up to me. Maybe I should have been drunk while watching it.
Seeing that some people hate on the series, because they say Krist is homophobic, it's hilarious how he gives…
I agree. So far, Krist has done an amazing job on this series and I'm so impressed by his acting. I see his amazing skills and honestly I might have become a fan because of this. Opinions said in the past change as you get older, and honestly I have read so many different posts about this issue, that I couldn't care less anymore. I don't live in Thailand, I'm not close to Krist, I could never know the whole truth. What i CAN do is enjoy this beautiful series.
Overall, I had fun watching this series!
